She is very good. Not my favorite style of belly dance, but well executed. And made all the more impressive by the fact that she did it in HEELS, which should have restricted her hip movements. Beautiful.
@lilas12345 answering that question also.. Greek, Armenian,Turkish,Arabic are born to do it.. and Egypt is the queen of belly dancing. Belly dancing is art and has been loved by the egyptians the way of entertainment before the Bible and the Quran. As a armenian person born in armenian but parents from lebanon i grew up in arabic music just like everyone in the region from greece to saudi arabia we grew up dancing and its in our blood and bones.
@melikeit7 i'm pretty sure you can dance don't listen to anyone else if bellydance is your passion and you managed to have learned all of didem's routines then im pretty sure your an incredible dancer and teacher :)x
I liked it, though I think that the stage presence was lacking, and that the moves were a little large for an Oum Kalthoum piece. Arms were a little rushed. Other than that, I really did enjoy watching it. It kept my attention throughout the entire performance, and the technique was superb. Congrats!
@melikeit7 yes didem is amazing but remember didem's style is turkish and this style is egyptan and didem will dance a different way from this girl this girl is still brilliant :) x

This may sound like a silly question, but do Tsifteteli dancers do any sort of an exercise regimen outside of dancing practice? Muscular control is really demanding, it appears.
Bellydancing is not just an ordinary dance!! IT'S AN ART.. goodness! really so amazed how these women can do such!
