TTC Brand New Elevators at Glencairn Station + Station Tour (October 9th, 2024)

After 3 years of constructon, the TTC had finally installed these brand new elevators at Glencarin subway station for easier access and accessibility needs. I got off a northbound train at Glencairn and did a tour around the station as well as riding these new elevators. Although, the elevator at the subway platforms was out of service still due to maintenance but the other elevator at the concourse level was open so I rode that elevator to street level. I went outside for a bit on Glencairn Avenue outside of Glencairn station above the Allen Road in the Glen Park neighbourhood. Captured a few of the 14 Glencairn buses passing by. After that, I went back inside the station. I rode that same elevator from the street level to the station concourse then further down to the subway platforms.

Yes they needed to they only have 2 buses running on 14 which when they get to Davisville they turn into 28 and go to brick works and then back to davisville then back on 14
