Magic Mountain is pretty chill these days. Knotts is the problem park. It looks like Cedar Fair, the owners of both, is implementing the policy during Halloween at Magic Mountain to avoid problems. Knotts has a chaperone policy year round.
A fight recently broke out there in the last year, I think that's when they came down with the chaperone policy.
Every theme park in the nation should have a permanent chaperone policy and zero tolerance policy permanently in place.

Anyone found breaking the rules, chaperone or minor, should be banned from the entire park system, not just this location, for life with no exceptions for anyone for any reason.
Exactly...they're bad if not worse, than the younger ones they're chaperone.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it. Hate to see kids running around screaming acting immaturely around ppl without an adult taking responsibility for it.
