привет, этот двигатель хорошо известен, используется на многих моделях VW Group, так что проблем быть не должно, так как внутри это хорошо известная технология
@@crospotter13 допустим, у двигателей 1,9 tdi (форсуночный) поколения шкоды А5 куча проблем, некоторые, слышал, проходили капремонт уже на 130 000 км - это как-то не очень обнадеживает... Вообще нет доверия ко всем новым двигателям в новых машинах (с новыми экотребованиями), очень много информации о том, что они одноразовые, что не скажешь про 1,9 tdi (прямой впрыск) поколения шкоды А4 (tour), который считают и который есть полмиллионники без капремонтов. В связи с этим у меня даже нет мечты о новом авто, или если будет, то с двигателем на 100 000, который потом менять, короче - нужно быть богатым буратиной...

It seems more high from the wheels respect the old one. Really?
in my opinion the sound must become from the eshaust and motors, not by the speakers. This car has real exhaust with two pipes. It was possible make a good job about the sound.

Here in Romania we got the 2.0 245hp TSI engine with MANUAL gearbox ! What a blessing :D Anyway this is such a beautiful car and I would really love to own it ! =)))

I tried the 2.0 tsi 245 ps today, great car, the interior is sportive a and beautiful, the engine is great with the dsg. Only one big issue, the sound ! The generator sounds totally artificial and the exhaust is in mute mode ! Why ??!!!
Yes it’s because of the new regulations. OPF filter needs to be here, and looks like they put all efforts to interior sound.
Exhaust sound video will be live on Sunday, but yeah only inside sound is good, outside not so much
@@crospotter13 yeah and it's really annoying for a car with 245 hp... Will have to find an exhaust with valve..

hello, I can compare them since I also drove the previous one. They are similar in terms of feeling behind the wheel, but this one is much more advanced in terms of technology (screens, ambient lights, available systems etc). Also, you get advanced LSD on this one
VW does not even write something or put a logo on the engine cover anymore to save even more when putting the engine in a Skoda or Seat, neat idea, every cent counts.
Yeah small amount but when you take the number od cars in account, that’s millions of €€€ saved 😀

Hmm... I saw the new Octavia a few days ago and from my opinion cheap plastics is everywhere.
@@ВячеславАлексеев-ж9н for this class interior is very good, many other models in this price range have way worse materials. Also here in RS you get beautiful alcantara and overall a nice place to be. Only minus is no AC controls (you need to use the screen which is not the best solution)

Ist es tatsächlich, wird aber leider auch von generation zu generation immer teurer und entfernt sich leider immer mehr vom gut bezahlbaren mittelklasse wagen.
tbh i would buy this if it had over 300hp and 4wd. Another import part for me is the audio system. My previous rs audio was garbage.
Canton is available here which is not bad. 4wd available with diesel RS 200 HP, but tbh I’m not a huge fan of diesel engines...
@@crospotter13 nahh diesel is fun if its also over 300hp but paying 600€ more every year for taxes nah not worth it for a car that only saves you little bit on the mileage.
@@crospotter13 4wd on petrol rs would be nice and be good car and a competition for the golf but fwd meh its quite a lot of the tyres. Same goes for gti

I would go for the pure petrol one 2 litre TSi 245 hp..a real life fuel consumption would be nice to know..
I bought the car. It consumes 6.8l to 7.5l (driving slowly)

The steering wheel ( 3 spokes) should be also in any Octavia ! The 2 spokes is a big draw back, sadly !
I do believe there is already that option (3-spoke sport steering wheel) on regular one

I own the previous VRS model. Here's what I see:
1. New design resembles Audi. From the lateral is not the same (as you stated)
2. Lights resemble Audi, even the signals.
3. Fake sound is better than the previous model.
4. You haven't driven it so we don't know if they kept the DSG farts on the exhausts. This is really important!
5. Now you need two actions to disable the Start/Stop. Previously there was a button below the shifter.
6. Exhaust tips are aluminium which is lame. Previous model has them black. At least on the RS Challenge pack.
7. Wheel rims are lame, go for the previous 19" Xtrem Antracit. They look way better, kinda like Lambo rims.
8. The car looks modern, which is really nice! It's still simple, smart and straightforward and you have a lot of space like before.
9. I like the new seat design, I expect it to look better in leather.
10. They finally have heated steering wheel!!!
I'll buy it in grey + black, leather, full, panorama, change the rims, opt for the black exhaust tips and windows. I'm looking forward for the "German edition".

Да, соответствующая базовая цена на этот автомобиль в моей стране составляет 36,421 евро, что переводится в 3,310 российских рублей. Очень хорошее соотношение цены и качества. Большой экран, цифровая кабина и матричные светодиодные фонари включены в эту цену.

The real name is VRS, RS is only for Audi
real name is RS mate, check out on the official website :)
VRS is the name in UK as Škoda had problems with Ford - Ford said they first came up with RS name for their models so Škoda changed it to VRS in UK.
Hope that explains it :)
@@crospotter13 in Austria and Germany Audi said no to Skoda! In German RS means Rennsport and is only for Audi.

It’s RS, check out the official page. Only in come countries is VRS because the RS name was taken (in UK by Ford, in Germany by Audi etc)

For your info - there is a POV test drive on my channel of this car! I always do a proper detailed look of the car when stationary and do a POV test as separate video. People love watching all the details, and if you want just driving part then you can watch just that video. Cheers

Old engine... 245hp were the old vw engined in 2013. This car is old, not worth it.
Then again, car companies are not going to be investing in R&D for ICE now as they are are being replaced by EVs. Still a very good engine though. I have the Mk3 VRS Challenge.
Exterior already looks outdated.
