It is pretty awesome how well we do in Castle Rock with the bulbs and corms and tubers! Gladiolus come back for me too, and they seem to love it here. I always see that they’re hardy in Zone 7, but they’re great for me. I got some byzantius gladiolus also (hardy to zone 5) - looking forward to seeing how they do over the winter! You’ve inspired me yet again. Good luck with your early-autumn tasks!
What about not planting in Oct because of the fear of fall freeze? The lady at HD told me if I didn’t get my hydrangea in the ground a month before freezing they would not make it. What are your thoughts? And if I leave them in a pot outside will they die completely frozen 🥶 Thank you 🙏🏼
Thanks for the great content. This video is getting there, but I think a garden tour would be great for a future video.
Great idea. Thanks for watching.

For me, gladiolas thrive on the south side of the house. On the north side they can't survive the winter

Perennials that are hardy in our climate can handle a fall freeze.
That nasty juniper has to go!!!
Soon!
