I love the old Idol. It looked like they were holding it in someone's basement. It was real, it was about talent. Not so much about the showmanship and back stories. If you were good...you did well. Hasn't been the case since at least Season 4.

Mariah's Without You is extremely hard because of how low you have to sing in the beginning and how high the long-drawn out vibrato notes are towards the climax. Kelly dodged the lows in the beginning but she improvised beautifully. She killed it!

Zek Star of course i didnt mean that i can reach her range, but i meant was that i have HER range , so what i meant lets imagine that my current top and bottom is from 3-6 and hence my range is obviously 6-3 = 3 and hers would be something more like 5-13 which would mean that she has a range of 13 - 5 = 8 hence that i am wishing for is to be able to have a range of 8 in my vocal high and low so that i can go from 3 - 11 or even 3 - 10 plus i would want to have her vocal strength , she can hit notes like they are a nail in wood while i can only flick them also i would like to have her lung capacity , as she has a very BIG lung capacity and can hold notes for MUCH longer and also provide that extra air to accelerate her vocals

From what I understand, Kelly was one of Carrie’s favorite artists when she auditioned for season 4, and the two have reported many times that they like each other’s songs. The cattiness and drama regarding them was ridiculous. They are both extremely talented and gifted in unique ways and people need to respect that.

I did not know who Leona was... just listened to her on a youtube video. She sound nice and good; but in my opinion, Kelly Clarkson has a very unique tone and graceful voice. It's not only beautiful and strong, but her words are really clear. Singers such as Mariah and Christina have nice voices, but oftentimes you can't make out what they are singing. Secondly, She's the only young artist that I know who can sing songs ranging from RB, Jazz, rock... you name it, she can do it. Great Voice!
