I recently got this bar of soap, never subscribed for soap before but I liked the commercial. My experience with this soap is all the same, except the scent doesn’t stick with me at all after the shower. Left comments and reviews on the squatch website I smell clean but not like the bar. Still like it tho.
These bar soap manufacturers, almost all provide pre-made product that someone can buy and finish off, label and package with their own brand. I'd say many of the men's soap lines do this, that seems shady. But also many will work with a company, develop custom base oil and essential oil recipes, then those they will make solely for that company. You have to realize though that many of the men's soap companies aren't so much manufacturers but marketing companies. They're mostly focused on the packaging, commercials, branding, online presence and social media.
On a run of Dr.Squatch soaps, they are a bit better than OK. On the pine tar now and I use until finished. All tend to leave my skin neutral which is fine for me and I'm not to concerned about the price. What's good is their customer service for my cases dealing with them. Keep on lathering!!!
short lasting though. it’s a great bar of soap i bought the whole pack of 11 sips of each flavor for 63$ and it was worth it but i live with all men and it seemed to rub out really quick even if i just used one by myself but i think your review is perfect and i think you should make another review! it’s more popular now and you should do it on one of the more fruity sweet smelling flavors
Ha! I got the holiday bundle of one of all of the Dr. Squatch soap 2 days ago for $50 then got a 20% promo and got it down to $40 with free priority shipping. Gotta be honest. This is holiday season is the time to get it if you just wanna buy the experience if you want. IMO but ill check out THE SOAP GUY in the future with a reference of what id like. haha
With companies like Dr Squatch, people can buy several individual bars to try them out with minimal hassle. If they find a bar or two that they really like then they can buy in bulk from Soap Guy.
I have Dr. Squatch but does the smell stay on ur body ????? I have Eucalyptus Greek yogurt the smell is good bit does not stay on ur body maybe I need a different scent ?? I also have Old Spice swagger body and the smell is good and it does stay on ur skin u can smell and it last .
The scent doesn’t linger for longer than 10-15 mins after depending on the soap but I’ll tell you what your bathroom will smell like heaven for hours. Sometimes I take my homework into the bathroom just for the relaxing smell
i got a black friday bundle pack last year and i can definitely say they're probably all like that. they also have an awful lather and have this weird "sticky" feeling against my skin. the pine tar one was by far the worst for 1) having *actual* bits of pine in it for exfoliation (you might think this is interesting, but it's totally not and is semi-painful) and 2) the pine tar bar dissolves insanely fast. you can watch it literally dissolve into the water by simply spraying on it. i don't think it lasted even a week. there are tons of amazon reviews with the same griefs (don't trust their website reviews; i can almost guarantee you that they're vetted for only positive reviews).

I went and bought a loaf(10 bars) of pine tar from bulk apothecary for $17 and again ill be honest at first it smelled kinda funny (due to being made so fast and not giving enough time to cure) and that threw me off but after a week of letting it sit out and cure it turned out to smell just like if not even more then the squatch. Tho Dr squatch is better right out of the box, long term and money wise id go with the loaf from online and just let it cure a little bit
I would like to say that Dr. Squatch doesnt make the soap they buy it wholesale and resell it at a 400% price increase. The place where they buy their soap is called the 'thesoapguy'. You can literally buy a whole loaf of soap (12 bars) for 36 dollars.

At first I thought you were a crank but upon going to their website I noticed that their goat's milk soap is the exact same looking bar that I JUST used, not to mention that this company is based in Indiana the same place a news article listed Dr Squatch as having production facilities .. I will throughly investigate this , if I find your claims to be true I'll make a video on it . Thank you for the heads up .
This stuff is exactly the same as the typical home made pine tar recipe Save yourself money and either buy a cheaper brand based on that recipe or make it yourself.

Yes they buy their soaps wholesale from the soap guy! A lot of companies do and package with their own brand labels and mark up and re sell

Generally soap scents don't stick around that long , body wash lasts longer and old Spice can be quite strong aroma wise.

I've found that their deep sea goat's milk really lasts on the skin.

No, however because it's black it contrasts with white showers, also tends to pool around wherever you leave it standing .
