Agree. In the 'Modifications' segment it suggests doing a bit of work then 'taking a break' to 'do something fun'. This is TASK SWITCHING which they should realise is very difficult for Autistic people. I don't think non Autistics have the first clue.
Agreed. this was really informative but it would benefit from editing. I appreciate this was live webinar, but it started to become a bit uncomfortable
The person in the lower left of the image represents the staff of the Johnson Center struggling to produce a video suitable for the neurodiverse community. The person in the top center of the image represents us teaching them how to do it.
Agonizing. Besides coughing, she sounds super Anxious with her voice shaking and barely able to speak at times. I had to really work to control my own anxiety-contagion reaction. Heating someone who sounds like they’re choking for an hour is too stressful. This whole presentation is so important, I wonder if she’d consider redoing it so it could be shared. I won’t share it as is.
Thanks for the great information! This will help me out a lot when working with my ASD clients in therapy.
Thank you so much for doing this even though you didn't feel well. I really appreciated it!
Wonderful presentation! I wasn't at all put off by the coughs
Thank you!
Thank you - very helpful.
I need as much information as possible.
very helpful thank you
I havn't found any lasting worth to these. I don't think that none Autistic people grasp that may typical approaches cannot work.

The coughs really should be edited out, it is very off-putting...

Also background noise at beginning.
