@Schooliday battery in 86-87 was even faster. When Jason first joined they were playing stupid fast trying to test out the new guy so to speak. He passed with flying colors.

But I don't agree with your reasoning, I think you're talking about especially 86 where they were playing fast because they were grieving Cliff Burton's death and they were charged with emotions each night without Cliff since it was fresh. But also since they were a dick to Jason, it's not really unimaginable that they would do that ahaha
