@@InstantEnglishUK also make shorts on WILL, SHALL, HAVE, HAS, WOULD, (these words we use when we ask questions like will you be my friend) p.s. i don't know what we call these words I guess they are verbs
@@bestboy_a.b3041 It depends on the verbs you use. The sun rises and sets . The village lies about ten miles of here. Drive about 10 kilometers, then take the motorway slip road. If you use east, west, north, south as adjectives, the preposition depends on the nouns : on the east coast, in the east corridor, at the east gate.
Good to see you again Chris! Could I pick your brain about something please! Do you say I am at the cafe or in the cafe. Does I am in the cafe mean you are inside the building and at the cafe means by its vicinity! Thanks in advance. Greetings from Casablanca Morocco.
Interesting, I took notes about differences, I started in a video before... I will travel on train/bus/plane vs I will travel in taxi, car, ferry (but yet I am confused with by ) ... Thanks
Great lesson as usual. Could you explain why the article *a* has two different pronunciations? I have seen you pronounce it in two different ways in the same video. Greetings from Uruguay🇺🇾 🤩🤩
In America we say what someone is doing "over" or "this" weekend, but less often use "on" the weekend. We often use "on" when saying "what are you doing on Sunday?"
I recently spoke to a British caller to the American bank I work for. I explained to her that we were not open the other day due to our "Federal Holiday". I explained that Federal Holiday is the same as your Bank Holiday. She was fascinated that we also have state holidays where only government offices in that state are closed.
@@InstantEnglishUK Thank you. At means somewhere in the area the Airport and particularly outside the Airport? Or can that be some where inside as well?
