God's Love Split- Short Documentary

God’s Love Split is a short documentary that explores the effects of disaffiliation or “splitting” of the United Methodist Church. Mostly over disagreements on how to respond to the LGBTQ+ inclusion issue, these decisions to leave the Methodist denomination have a profound impact on both the community as a whole and individuals who struggle reconciling their faith and sexuality. Through interviews with local pastors in Savannah, GA, the film navigates the tricky divide between those who vote to stay and those who vote to leave. However, one thing remains the same: God’s love is for all.
