I wanted to be sure to get the best kayak I could afford so I watched many of your kayak comparison videos. Then I started to read owner reviews and what I found was that by and far, kayak owners were pleased with whatever kayak they bought. They overwhelmingly gave 4 or 5 star reviews. I came to the conclusion that most of them fell in love ( not with the particular boat ) but with the kayaking experience. And that doesn't mean your opinions don't matter and I appreciate that your are foremost a kayaking advocate and encourage people to get out on the water. That will eventually turn many people on to a wholesome activity and some may progress to the point they want to do more than have fun and upgrade to a fancier, faster or specialized kayak. Thanks for keeping a perspective that not everyone has unlimited money to spend and you are just as thorough in comparing under $500 boats as $2000 boats. I'm a fan
Exactly! I could't have said it better myself. People are giving kayaking the 5 star review, and the kayak is just an access key. Love this comment because it speaks to exactly what I've been trying to say for years. Ultimately it's the experience that we're all after, not the toy.
I'm a recently retired kayak nube.... While I watched 100 videos about kayak fishing, reviews, etc.....nobody has yet to show a video on how exactly to gain access to the rear storage, without tipping over. Is it more simpler than what I think ?
@@HeadwatersKayak I've got 3 reservoirs within 30 mins drive...all requiring 12' kayaks. I've decided on the Moken 12.5 . I can even use the Bixpy thruhull electric motor, which will definitely be needed. Thank you for your channel...great info
LOL we simply don't get these full array of Stellar models in Australia .. we have zero buying power and the net result is we get one color and a main stream G2 S14 .... sad really. Anyways my G1 S14 runs really well. Love how USA and Canada get all the good stuff with full model selection and the rest of the world get a kick in the pants .. such is life ... enjoy ur sweet boat mate.
I’m about to upgrade from an inflatable Advanced Elements touring kayak to a hard body kayak. I’m very strong and athletic but petite and not yet experienced enough kayaking. What Stellar do you recommend for someone who is 5’3” and 125lbs? Or another brand that is more affordable and light weight? Looking for a touring kayak. Thanks!

Beautiful looking Yak
Do you guys stock any of these or are they all custom order? If order- typical wait time? Thx!
It’s a beautiful kayak.
My mom is busy but I got your back lol
Now you’re teasing big time! LOL! Wished I could afford that! 🙄
I don't know which are prettier. The Stellars or the Eddylines.
I thought that too
Honestly stellar has the more sporty look

Yes. Beach the boat, get out and open the hatch. Haha can’t get into it from the water. It’s more for camping gear or a picnic.
@@HeadwatersKayak aha... I thought so, but I couldn't find the real answer. Thank you very much

@@GreenManalichi Cool. Sounds like a fun setup. Enjoy!
wonder how long until these make Australia. Also as a 6'2+ person, how does the S-14HV compare to the S16 or the S18 even?
Much larger. The S-16-18 fits lower on the hips and the cockpit is narrower and more snug.
That cockpit looks even bigger than the one on the S12.
Beautiful kayak! I believe, that for my size, I would get the S- 14 LV. I am hoping to check this out further.
What height and weight would determine HV or not? Also.. do you think they’ll make an HV modular?
I’m not sure if all the boats will be modular or not but I hope so.
