    Nice job on that spring hole. Maybe someday they might lengthen our season on land sets.

    The weather has been all over the place this year! It sure has made trapping a chore! LOL! Gotta love them rats clogging the 330's! Nice red! Those spring sets sure are productive!

    Oh that’s too bad, not enough moose? Here in Newfoundland myself and my wife usually get a license every three years. Wife had a license this past season for a bull or calf and she harvested a nice cow calf, great eating animal.

    That's pretty crazy there were starting to see a growing population of both moose and black bear. I'm guessing your somewhere in the Northwest part of the state I'm down in New Haven county and moose are pretty much never seen maybe someday though.

    I looked on line about dew claws on rear feet. Google it and there is a good article from BBC News about the wolf gene causing it.

      There is no season on Moose in Connecticut
