No Dirt Land Trapping

I've been using this method with great results on trail sets. Not sure how it would work on baited sets. Baited sets put the coyote's focus and nose to the ground.

Small female Bobcat not collared
Просмотров 2605 лет назад
Bobcats have to be a minimum of 15 lbs. to be collared. I put this female in a cage and weighed it, it was 15 lbs. The Biologist wants to hold out for a bigger female from this area. So this cat was released.

I think fur trapping is disgustingly cruel That being said, that is a beautiful coat and I wouldn’t certainly not say no to owning one. Call me a hypocrite if you will.

Amazing! I made a fox coat with 22 pelts i bought from trappers on Etsy. It took me 6 months of hand sewing every evening. It's so warm. Probably cost me about $650 total ❤

Wow, I'll be honest when I first saw these clips I immediately thought this kind of trap was super inhumane and I thought you were being unethical, but this changed my mind. I have seen other foothold traps with teeth and other things used that seemed a lot less humane, I didn't know they made them like this. I will have to seriously consider using these traps as part of humane feral fox/cat control on my property in the future.

Honestly this is a really good way to reuse hides. Most people i know have little to no patience to work with the hides and just throw it away but scramble to buy faux fur spending big on them.
