- Located at the top of the Bruce Peninsula, Tobermory is a lakeside town surrounded by crystal clear water, the majestic Niagara Escarpment, and is home to Flowerpot Island along with two national parks.
This is our favorite getaway place in Summer.
Must visits:
1- Grotto- The Grotto is a scenic cave containing a pool of blue water, located on the Georgian Bay shoreline in Bruce Peninsula National Park, near Tobermory. 40 minutes hike from the Cyrpus lake campground.

2- Flowerpot Island: Take the ferry from Tobermory to get to the Island, natural rock formation, you will feel out of this world and perfect for clicking pictures, tons of pictures you will click.

3- The stunning turquoise lake at The Little Cove road: 10 minutes away from Tobermory- this is a hidden gem, perfect for water activities & to take a dip.
4- The big Tub Lighthouse: No hike required, park the car and hop on the rocks to enjoy the lake & the lighthouse.
There are many restaurants, do try the fish & chips, it's yummy.

I’m heading to tobermory next week. Those farms are wheat, the cornfields are field corn and I see lots of soybean fields.

I've visited BC a couple of times. Last year, had visited Squamish, Whistler & Vancouver :) Such stunning places, hiked the Chief & Joffre lakes; Joffre lakes- totally out of the world. I drove from toronto through beautiful farm land in canada to tobermory .I love this small beautiful town , beautiful lake , beach , it's like haven .

I heard there’s a lot of snakes there I really wanna go but I’m scared 😱
I haven’t seen many snakes, this visit saw one at the lake where I’m splashing the water 😄 & a few years ago at the flower pot island- rattle snake. It’s such a beautiful getaway place, don’t be scared you’ll be seen enjoying the serene beauty of this place; do visit this Summer 😊

I have been to this place before. But I forgot .. for the beach or Ghetto do you ha e to take the ferry rite ? If so are they still on
To visit the Flower pot island, you have to take the ferry. Grotto, 30 minutes hike :)

Little cove beach, 5 minutes before you reach Tobermory- turn right on little cove road. It's an extremely beautiful lake.
