Never been to Japan and recently am getting back into N64 after 20+ years. Interesting how the game boxes looks so new. Thanks for taking the time to film this
Oh cool! The nostalgia and exploring titles you never played. So much fun. Yea, people in Japan really take care of their stuff. Its incredible! Thanks for watching and good luck diving into the N64 again :D
It's always great to see that there is still a place in the world where retro games are affordable. Even when there are expensive games in Japan too, you can have a great time all the cheap ones. Anyway, it would be great to see a video in the same style for the GameCube, because GameCube game prices in Europe/North America are out of control.
Right Vlono!? I agree with you here. Imagine how much fun you could have with Mario Kart 64 for 10 dollars for example! Great suggestion. I really like Gamecube too!
Thanks for retro game hunting tour! (17:57) contains also one odd item バイオセンサー (bio sensor for N64, which measures player's heart rate.. it seems that Tetris was only game to support this sensor..) Really nice combination of N64 related accessories, consoles and games! Here are suggestions for next hunt: Game Boy, PSP or Nintendo DS.
Thank you for watching, Silverian! Oh wow, I didnt know what that was, thanks :D Measuring player's heart rate... thats cool. Glad you enjoyed it :D Great ideas. I've been buying a lot of Game Boy games recently.
Really enjoying your videos man great hunt! I would love to see a hunt for the classic Pokémon games and compare prices in different stores in Tokyo! Also what is your intro and outro music called?

Thank you very much for this wonderful tour of N64 games, but are all the games you showed original? Specifically those that are in transparent plastic covers. Are they original games?
Hey! Thanks for watching! Really appreciate it! And yes, every single game you saw in this video is original. N64 was never popular in Japan, hence the cheaper prices compared to other systems!
@@RetroMoments yer there is a green one 1000 made released with a soccer game. And 1000 made blue one released with a baseball game. They allowed the player to add speed and faster movements with switches on the controller.
Just the video I was looking for! I am collecting Japanese N64 titles and around 50 titles away from the completion... Glad N64 is still not that expensive compared to other retro games (like NEOGEO)... but the price definitely increased since COVID-19 pandemic. Hope that the price does not escalate till my visit to Japan this November. How many stores are there in Nagoya for N64 games? Compared to other retro games, it seems less N64 games available. Thanks for the video once again! And what a piece for Pickachu Blue N64... Definitely want to have that.
Hey! Hope you had a great trip and found some new N64 games to add to your collection! Definitely, the right choice to go for a complete set and not break the bank. Prices have gone up but are definitely still affordable. Pretty much every Game Store / used media store has N64 games. But just like you said, there are not as many as for other systems. Fewer games were released and not a popular system in Japan.

It always blows my mind that they redo all the box art on these games... what a waste of effort. 99% of the time the Japanese box art is way better. Just translate and ship, jeeze
100% agree with you! Its Absolutely crazy that they thought they had to change it. But then again, Japanese anime wasnt as big back then.
Psp hunting
Great idea! I just wish I knew more about PSP games…
