to be totally fair the FIRST thing I thought when this video started was that the music was absolute trash. It wasnt even close to the same bpm that most bboy music is played to. I dont dj for bboys because its too hard but I did edm dj work years ago. I can tell immediately that this is music was supposed to be for a for a hip hop /popping/all styles battle NOT A BBOY BATTLE. This was THIS WAS A MAJOR DJ FAIL!!! I promise you that Dj is probably more used to doing other type of dance battle music and was called to do a bboy event he wasnt used to but it paid well. I dont know squat about Allef but if he is about musicality then this music got him robbed of a chance to shoot his shot fairly. I saw him multiple times trying to feel the music but there was nothing to be felt so it looked like he couldnt do anything. I love amir and thats why I clicked on the video but this kind of trash music favors powerheads and people like Amir with a lot of variations.
2 bboy really battling, I loved it. When you start to feel weird of what's going to happen when watching a battle, that's a great battle ! Allef showed a lot of great values. Some people won't like him for sure, because he likes to break rythm, interrupt the energy, but that's a very powerful skill that you like, or hate

He definitely earned his place in the finals and he's a great dancer that can be appreciated even if you can see his loss coming from a mile away. The only round that was cringe to me was the last one where he was on his feet the whole time and it was only cringe when it ended because I thought he was just warming up.
