I just started going to TLM.
It's showing that the mass itself is the ultimate prayer.
I went after some bad experiences with lack of reverence during communion at my novus.
I'm not the typical traditionist' though.

    Watching is very important for
Newbies.. put the missal down and just watch, listen, and smell :). Let your senses participate for a while…. One thing for sure is, you’ll definitely know when the bread and wine is consecrated. It is the pivotal part during the mass, and it is the easiest to recognize.

I can't wait to get that Fr Lasance Missal. Thank you for this video! I'm preparing to attend my first TLM after finding a parish that offers it nearby!

Great video and info. I just started attending the Latin Mass and I agree with everything you said about how to attend for the 1st time. It’s humbling just being there and not knowing all that’s being said but giving our hearts to the Lord. Also I just purchased a Fr. Lasance missal. Thanks for the video!

This is a great video ❤️🤗! Is there any difference between 1945 and 1962 missal? Is there a video on this question?

I have heard that there is a difference.. some 1962 Missals leave out some prayers here and there - the differences seem minor to me, but for others it is a bigger deal haha.. but either way both can be used. Mine is a 1945 and I love all the details in it so if anything I would recommend 1945 😁😅

Yes, most octaves and some other feasts were suppressed, orations (such as collects) were reduced and rubrics were simplified. Beginners probably would not notice such changes or simplifications. Learn your tradition, it is your priceless heritage. A good book is Fr Adrian Fortescue's The Mass.

Hi there! I just got this same missal as a gift as I have just received my sacraments this past easter vigil. Would you be willing to do a video on how to use the missal and finding the corresponding readings for that specific day? I get confused with the calendar and prayers and how to make sure I am setting up my missal correctly before mass. Blessings!
