Great interview. Amazing to see how far ahead of his time Sting was, with his concern for the environment, for the Amazon rainforest, and how little progress humanity has made since then. Let alone his hopes for the evolution of pop music - we have only gone backwards since the 1990s.
I remember watching this in real time. I have to think Sting listened to Soundgarden, or at least Chris Cornell's solo work because they did perform together many years later.
