✨I’m most happy & excited that Jimin’s name is credited in just about every song with exception of a couple. Even on Jimin’s previous FACE album, th Jimin wasn’t credited producing, aside from Jimin composing most melodies, & pretty much writing all the lyrics, he indeed was involved, participating, as shown in Jimin’s FACE production documentary. Even though also not given credit for song “Who” from his MUSE album, being that Jimin is always hands on, I’m positive Jimin was still there, participating in production, along with also composing the melodies & writing the lyrics! The concept photos even have Jimin in more of a rocker look with electric guitar, 🎸which makes me wonder if he’ll possibly be playing it as well on “Who” which will be the title track which indeed MV of which does always get released the same time the album officially drops! Even more excited now, after hearing & seeing the teaser for “Who” MV! Especially hearing Jimin’s breathtakingly amazing vocals at the end made me that more excited! 😆😅👍❤️🔥🔥😍🤩🎉
“Be Mine” since it most definitely does have that latin sound, makes everyone think, including myself, of Jimin’s previous song “Filter”, which how can anyone not get excited about, hoping it will also have that sultry, seductive enticing feel, along with some equally amazing choreography that will go along with that vibe & feel! For me, I’m holding back because i realize that the ‘medley’ is still pretty much a ‘tease’ even though it’s also a glimpse into each song! But I’m also of the mind that they could end up being entirely different. I mean already Who shows a difference (of course) then the acoustic guitar part, as shown posted on insta, BIgHit site, that indeed could and seems to be more in background, which makes me believe that they’ve shown nothing yet, even might be misleading a bit to say the least.😉🤔😅🙏❤️🔥🔥🥰
“Slow Dance” gives me a feel of not just being seductive & sultry, but as Jimin has hinted before, seeing everyones excited reaction to Like Crazy choreo, where he’s dancing intimately with females, he hinted slyly, with a mischievous 😏 grin, mentioning to expect even more next time! ❤️🔥🔥🥵🫠😍 Also Sofia Carson is mentioned coming from a dance background as well, so of course I’m totally in anticipation to see just how steamy (at least I’m hoping) that choreo is! Also being that Sofia Carson is known to have vocals in the high note range like Ariana Grande, I’m thinking & hoping, in contrast, Jimin will use his deeper, more sultry seductive raspy lower registry! 🙏❤️🔥🔥🥵😅🫠😍
Being that since FACE came out, Jimin has seen first hand how other members indeed had MV’s or at least live clips for pretty much all their songs, plus Jimin is in military now so all the more reason, I’m hoping praying that we indeed will get a MV or live clip for each song and that there will be choreography for hopefully the 2 - 3 songs I mentioned. Also hope Jimin shows his full range including some stratospheric high notes as well as equally some vocals using his more sultry, seductive raspy sexy lower registry, like perhaps in Be Mine. I have a feeling, in any case, this is more of a tease then anything, and these songs will offer even way more beyond our expectations! 🤔🙏😅🥵🫠❤️🔥🔥😍🤩🎉
Jimin’s second album MUSE (quite successful first album FACE dropped March 2023), which will drop july19 KST (July 18 in other time zones) in which Jimin also wrote/composed/produced 6/7 songs. ‘MUSE’ tracks description, according to the press release:
☆ ‘Rebirth’ - fusion genre R&B & gospel
☆ ‘Interlude: Showtime’ - instrumental that connects to track 3: Smeraldo Garden marching band
☆’ Smeraldo Garden Marching Band’ (ft. Loco) - draws inspiration from marching bands, blending “hip hop” elements with big band characterized by large-scale orchestra, creating an upbeat lively rhythm
☆ ‘Slow Dance’ (ft. Sofia Carson) - medium tempo R&B
☆ ‘Be Mine’ - Afro-beat genre characterized by a mesmerizing rhythm
☆ ‘Who’ - sexy & bold, R&B (title track)
☆‘Closer Than This’ (dropped in December, 9 days after Jimin joined military, to show his love & support, also to comfort army.
✨BTS‘ Jimin revealed the full track list for his upcoming second solo album, MUSE. Jimin’s quite successful first album FACE, still charting worldwide, which Jimin also composed, wrote lyrics, & participated in production as well. The seven-song LP due out on July 19 KST (July 18 in other time zones), according to a billboard article, will feature the intro song “Rebirth,” as well as “Interlude : Showtime,” the pre-release song “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band” (featuring Loco), dropped june 28, “Slow Dance” (featuring Sofia Carson), as well as “Be Mine,” “Who”, (single can now be purchased as presale aside from 2 versions MUSE album), and “Closer Than This” (which dropped in December.)
Jimin even mentioned that after finishing his first album FACE which mainly was about what he went through, his thoughts, inner feelings, frustration, even depression during the pandemic, he wanted his MUSE album to be brighter,, which is why he chose “SGMB” as the pre release, a way more uplifting, cheerful, happy song. Following his first solo album, "FACE," where he sought to explore his true identity, "MUSE" documents his journey in search of the source of his inspiration. Showcasing Jimin's expanded musical spectrum, "MUSE" includes seven tracks, including the fan song "Closer Than This," released in December 2023.
Jimin, 28, wrote six of the songs, according to a release, composed, also finally listed as one of the producers for most of his songs, (though shown in Jimin’s documentary his involvement in producing all his songs), which also noted that the announcement from BIGHIT Music featured a vintage feel via images of old-school cassette tapes representing each song, with an overarching theme of “love” connecting all the tracks.
The hip-hop/R&B-leaning focus song, “Who,” was produced by Grammy-nominated singer/producer Jon Bellion, along with Pete Nappi, Tenroc, Pdgogg and GHSTLOOP, with a vibe described as “intense bounce and guitar sound.” In addition, the pre-release (June 28), song “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band” draws inspiration from marching bands, “blending hip-hop elements with the big band sound characterized by a large-scale orchestra, creating an upbeat, lively rhythm and dynamic atmosphere thanks to an assist from South Korean rapper Loco.”
Other contributors to the album include Tommy Brown (Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber), as well as producers Pdogg, GHSTLOOP and EVAN, who also worked on Jimin’s first solo album, 2023’s FACE, which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart. Jimin’s official solo debut came with the 2018 single “Promise.” Five years later, he became the first South Korean soloist to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Like Crazy,” followed by FACE‘s “Set Me Free, Pt. 2” reaching No. 30 on the chart.
Jimin is still in the midst of his 18-month mandatory South Korean military service, which he began in December; bandmate Jin recently became the first member of BTS to finish his military service.🙏👍❤🔥🔥🐥😍💥🌟💫✨
