They were made far up north in the arctic but were never finished by the ancients and never activated until a scug came along with the goal of activating them

i honestly think this song gets even sadder when reversed... kind of a nostalgic memory amidst a dozen other memories, swimming ever deeper to find peace.

The main menu theme, random gods and moondown are leitmotifs of Pictures of the Past! That's why it sounds so similar
