Taemin said today en Vlive that this song or the concept represents the stockholm syndrome,
I have two theories
First theory:(APPROVED BY TAEMIN)
Taemin was kidnapped and now he's confused as to what he feels, he knows it's bad but he still feels something else,
Taemin manages to free himself but still does not leave because of the stockholm syndrome.
BUT in the mv TAEMIN is representing the kidnapped and the kidnapper.Taemin represent the CRIMINAL VERSION AND THE VICTIM VERSION
Second teory ;
Taemin was kidnapped and now he develops stockholm syndrome.
He may even kill his kidnapper because Taemin is seen with a zip and there is blood on the mirrors, everything is broken as if there had been a fight. HOLYSHIT! that's why the police catch him and he's handcuffed and shows his hands with his kidnapper's blood.
so... Does the victim become a criminal?

I just noticed something when you slowed the video down to see if the back-up dancers had eye patches... I watched this video at least 30 times since it released, but I never noticed the half second shot of him hanging from a noose in the room where he was holding the chainsaw until now... The plastic bag bit I noticed right away and was sort of disturbing, but the hanging is something else entirely. Dark concepts are my favorite, especially since they seem to have so many hidden bits and shots in them. I'm going to have to watch the whole thing at 0.5 speed to make sure I didn't miss anything else.

I never expected you to go live again so soon and now I regret I worked and couldn't watch it live with you. I never even get notifications for any of your videos anymore and they're definitely turned on. Stupid RUclips. I personally hope you never go to Twitch and just stream on here because Twitch and be so finicky and freezes so bloody much. I think his hair is silver and am assuming he shot this back to back with SuperM's Tiger Inside since in the last shot of that MV, he's got this same silver hair. Wearing weird fashion among people you know IS possible, if you just keep everything borderline costume. I've done it for years, pairing shit like corsets over long sleeve blouses, but matching them with jeans and low boots. All it takes is a little imagination and confidence. So many of Taemin's songs have lyrics that are full of twisted sensuality and are low-key erotic but it's just part of his brand. I'm convinced Taemin's concept is "devil in disguise"- all hail the return of our dark king, LEE TAEMIN. I love this song with all my heart, but it's not my favorite from the album. That belongs to Waiting For because it sounds like a dark, gothic tango, followed by Clockwork because his voice is devastatingly haunting on that track, THEN Criminal. Thank you for reacting to this. It made my morning after a hella long night at work.

I love listening to Ellis' views on songs and all, but am I the only one noticing that he's swearing a little too much in this one. Like are we drunk or is 2020 making us do it or are we finally too comfortable to do so? Been watching him since Tempo and Idk why, I am concerned lol!
