the cheese rolls and ensaymada are best consumed warm after heating it up in a toaster oven. the cheese in the middle melts slightly and the bread gets extra soft. ensaymada is known as cheese bread amongst my colleagues and they go crazy over it whenever they get a hold of them. the cheeses are commonly cheddar or edam cheese but the original ones bought in the local bakeries come slathered in margarine and sugar.
