M'Hamid to Merzouga, Morocco, Troopy 4x4 Ep15

A strong sandstorm in Erg Chegaga make us escape the region and drive further trough the desert to Sidi Ali and Merzouga. We are fascinated by the pure and meditative Landscape in which we stay 5 inspiring days.

Ja, wirklich nett: getragen von der simpel eingängigen Kennmusik der Videos dieser Reise und - vor allem - dem melodischen Singsang des Schweizer English. Alles so entrückt unaufgeregt, fast meditativ. Ich hätte nicht geglaubt, dass man den (ja wirklich echten!) Schönheiten dieses klassischen Touri-Landes noch mit so überzeugender Entdecker-Freude begegnen kann, wie die Beiden. Vielleicht liegt das auch an der ruhigen Dankbarkeit, die sie ausstrahlen. Ergebnis: Harmonie!

Marokko ist in der Tat ein wunderschönes Land. Es gibt so viel zu sehen und zu erfahren hier. Die Landschaften, die allermeisten Leute und die unendlichen, leeren Weiten sind für uns Europäer schlicht ergreifend - nur die wenigen Touristen-Hochburgen im Land sind nicht wirklich attraktiv. Aber die sind mit eigenem Fahrzeug ja leicht zu umfahren. Und so kommt es tatsächlich zu: Harmonie.

South of Erg Chegaga in the Draa valley there is a lot of Fech Fech and it's not so funny to drive there. Extremely dusty!! So don't be sad that you could not take this route.😃

Grüesdi. Mit einem Garmin GPSMap 276 und gewöhnlichen OpenStreetMaps. Die Maps sind recht gut, allerdings mangelt es ab und zu an der Aktualität. Sind aber durchaus brauchbar.

We use a Garmin Sytem and most tracks I get from Wikiloc, a very good source for tracks of all kinds.
The route between M'Hamid and Merzouga is easy to drive wit a 4x4, the landscape epic, really very beautiful. Enjoy
