    I just did this on a 2008 FJR1300. The gasket sealing is very important; the tank surface needs to be very clean, also the groove where the gasket fits in on the plastic fuel pump..(FLAT side of the gasket mates to the PLASTIC side, not the steel tank side)... and you must TORQUE those tiny 4mm allen bolts WITH A SMALL TORQUE WRENCH, to 4 Newton-Meters.... in a CRISS-CROSS, even pattern. Mine leaked the first time, had to do it again. PS- you should always use a brand new gasket

    Any issues on leaking i did the exact same thing and it leaked gas

    • @filamrider
      @filamrider  4 года назад

      No bro not at all, check the gasket I'm pretty sure that is the reason why gas is leaking, that if it's coming from where the filter sits between the tank, check it it might have move when you tight it up.
