maybe... albeit im hoping if we get a venator in the future that it will have a more detailed interior that can actually be worked with, or maybe something like hallways that come in separately for the sake of dioramas. this venator is very nice, but I feel like it being on microscale doesn't do it justice, since the interior isn't really use able even if there is one.
people really think lego would do something? like maybe try to boycott them and buy cheaper (same factory) bricks and go for mocs to show lego that they fkced up? i mean you can buy better bricks for a lower price get better models for a lower price (yes no bricks included however a moc aint expenisce) so give some guy some money and buy yourself some bricks and fck lego no?
The Venator is my favorite capital ship by far, and I was looking at custom Venators a few months ago and couldn't find one that I really liked, until I came across Martin's flicker page. I know he said he was going to do instructions, and thrilled to see he went through brickvault! I am definitely going to build one of these in the near future.
Props for pulling through with such a long-requested model, this thing looks wild. I'd love to see an MTT attempted soon, it's probably the most prominent Star Wars vehicle you guys haven't covered yet
buy bricks (cheap and better than lego) get a moc (no bricks but better than lego) at the end you will have spend less and a better model. idk why people pay lego money ngl.
This looks absolutely amazing. Some other things myself and others would also like to see include an MTT, hyena bomber, crab droids, C-9979 landing craft, a hailfire droid, an octuptarra tri-droid, an acclamator-class assault ship (to the same scale as the Venator), a BTL-B Y-wing (republic), a UT-AT, AT-OT, more variants of the Jedi starfighters/interceptors (Plo Koon, Saesee Tiin, Kit Fisto, mace Windu, Ahsoka, Yoda, etc.), hyperdrive rings for the Jedi starfighters, HAVw A6 Juggernaught (clone turbo tank), a review of the updated TX-130, a tie reaper, UA-TT, soulless one, umbaran star fighter / MHC, Ginivex-class star fighter (ventress’s ship), tie reaper, the mantis, RX-200 Falchion-class assault tank, AT-DP, mandalorian star fighter, Wookiee ornithopter, Mandalorian N1 starfighter, and a Kessel run falcon.
I second these, and add ahsoka's starfighter in there? Would be difficult to do her Eta-2 but could be pretty awesome. Would also be nice to see a few of the updated models, I saw the snowspeeder got some new cockpit pieces, wonder what else has had updates
This is my #1 favorite Star Destroyer Class, the Resurgent taking the runner up spot. I love the Venator and would love to see it appear more in Star Wars.
This is great. About two days ago I searched for Lego Senators because I'm getting back into Star War's again and now this pops up in my feed. What an epic model.
Smaller star destroyers are always really cool. I wish Lego would remake the midi scale star destroyer as I believe that is one of the best star wars sets ever made.
I am so flipping glad that you guys finally have a Venator Class Star Destroyer in your store. I absolutely love all the details and hangers and angles! I am wondering as to why it isn't perfectly scaled to the rest of the ships. Congratulations!
@@andrewchapman2024 some more info if you are interested: BrickVault works in a few ways (that I know of). One, there is a designer who is already making a moc and both parties decide to sell the instructions on BrickVault. Two, BrickVault may comission a designer to make something or work with them. There the sets usually scale well. Three, the designer and BrickVault collaborate on a MOC to fit in BrickVault's scale system. This isnt BrickVault comissioning/reaching out to designers to make something, but where they work out some project requirements together.
An Acclimator would be awesome. That's my personal favorite "star destroyer" esque ship. Or a Bellator. Eclipse always comes to mind, but that's no doubt WAY too big for pretty much anyscale. An MC-80 is definitely up there as well. Edit: Daedalus class. FOR SURE. IYKYK.
I do hope that at some point, we can get a Venator Class Star Destroyer that scales to the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Eviscerator. Until then, this Venator is perfect!
That one is almost literally the elephant in the room :) There is a designer that says they want to tackle it, let's see though, it could be a year-long commitment or more.
The Brick Puke's moc is probably the best version around at the moment and it's still a little below the brickvault quality line in terms of stability and use of rare pieces. I'm no expert but it looks like a dang tricky model
Damn this model looks absolutely bonkers. I hate giving tons of model suggestions, but it would be cool to see the hyena class bomber, a rework of the at-te, an at-dt, at-dp, some other first order builds (like the landing craft, or at-st), BTA-NR2 y wing, and some other separatist builds!
you know what i would enjoy the most. it would be a size comparison of all the micro scale CLONE WARS (emphasis on clone wars) builds. that would be amazing
There is only 1 thing I would change and that is the long red hanger doors. I would have them on a hinge type mech or maybe even create a sliding type mech so you dont have to so much as "dismantle" the build as to make it look and feel operational as to say. Besides that minor detail this is AMAZING and props for the build!
Have you ever considered to feature some ships and vehicles from Star Wars The Old Republic such as the Thranta class Corvette and the Harrower class Dreadnought? I would love to see how someone constructs those!
Amazing build, absolutely beautiful. I really want an official venator cruiser, obviously not this size (i know about the 2009 one but that one just doesnt do it) With a small hanger that has some like mini ships or something

LEGO's had all the resources and time yet they couldn't make a Venator with an interior and openable hangar doors.

Because it's not supposed to be played with? Do you want a flimsy model?
Any custom model like this one can never be a conceivable mass produced lego set, it lacks the lego’s preferred stability
