We stayed in Feb and the beach hotel was still being renovated, it didn’t affect us though as they have their new, better complex open and shuttle buses to the beach every so often

There is a shuttle bus every 30 mins or so that takes you to the beach, otherwise about a 15 min walk across the complex to the other side which is currently being renovated

Thanks for this very good, informative video. How busy was the hotel? It looks almost deserted in the video. I'm booked to go in mid-January, and hoping there will still be plenty of people to socialise with.

It wasnt busy at all, we actually prefer it like that, but if you want it busier its best to go in school holidays or when its a bit hotter in Egypt
