I'm seeing Northlane 2.0 tomorrow. I saw Northlane 1.0, so I will be able to make a fair comparison. The live aspect is very important to me. I can't listen to music that isn't performed genuinely. So far Adrian had proved that he lives his lyrics and that the band stands strong and passionately behind what they write. Nothing is more dissatisfying than a great recorded performance and coming to find that isn't true with the live setting. Go out and see a show when you can! I can't wait to see Northlane 2015 live tomorrow
This is a really well-produced video and I really like the content of it! however, I think that if it's 6 minutes long, it doesn't sound good to just play the song one and a half times in the background. The guys in Northlane listen to very diverse music themselves, couldn't you have had them pick a soundtrack for the half not filled by the song? Just a thought.
I agree. As a videographer by trade, I totally get this point. It may not matter to you UltimateKakashi5 , but everyone notices different things with video; it's very subjective.
While Marcus Bridge is a great singer, his clear vocals maybe are even better than Adrians. But the shouts just aren't there for me. Adrian had some of the most amazing shouting I have ever heard, especially on Dispossesion. Marcus just isn't on the same level when it comes to shouting.
Was willing to give a new singer a chance at Unify festival, Rot came out, was half assed about it to start with, then after listening more it sounded awesome, but then seeing if live at Unify, it was shocking, everyone was so drunk saying how good Northlane are now, but it was so disappointing, it's exactly when you see music videos and hope they can pull it off on stage, but they couldn't. New singer changes everything, I think the band's name should change, even though they would have to start from scratch with support. It sounds different now, I liked Marcus in Sounds of Season it worked well. It's changed too much but, Rot music video sounded pretty awesome, but seeing Northlane since then that song was the worst and everything else closely followed. Wasn't impressed.
He's insane live, should go see him before you speak up.
Saw him last night, was incredible

Humble, professional and a voice to take Northlane to Global heights. Proud to be Australian :)
Sounds like a top bloke!
His personality and demeanour will fit Northlane well :)

how was it?
Marcus is the bestest thing ever happened to this band.
Of he's great, I mean, he's australian.
just saying it would be the most insane surprise if mid set northlane were to cover the shoe song...
would definitely make my day :)
I wonder if his grandparents have learnt to like this style of music? Would be awesome if they did
I actually like Marcus' lows more than Adrian's. They seem to have more of a growl and Adrian's seemed more like a shout.
saw you guys at bristol 02 academy the other night with Parkway Drive, fucking awesome man, keep it up!
High hopes

Philip Saucier i believe the term is "joke"
Marcus has better cleans. Adrian has better screams
Adrian's screams (not growls) are just eargasmic
Marcus got some MEAN Growling and screaming.

Gonzo HxC I agree but look where Adrian’s style got him. He just couldn’t keep up with his own demands live
Why the fuck do blokes from Sydney all sound like this?

Just seen em a couple months ago for alien tour...he fucking killed it
Boy that comment aged so badly haha
8 years later, still one of the dumbest RUclips comments I've ever read, congrats. This guy became everything fans couldve ever wanted and more.
Marcus is an awesome addition, but that dyed hair looks weird though... :D
