I think the word they were going for when describing their surroundings was "ideal". That place does look ideal.
Mesmer was criminally underrated and did not get the attention it deserved. Alien was absolutely unreal. Excited for Obsidian!

I always forget that Alien came out nearly 3 years ago now. I’ve been listening to Alien at least weekly since it’s release and I usually get sick of albums very quickly even from my favourite artists. Chances are by the time Obsidian comes out I still won’t be sick of Alien, and I have a feeling that I’ll feel the same way about Obsidian. Way to create timeless music guys!

YOU GUYS DESERVE IT AMD EARNED IT! Let’s not forget you guys are at the top and deserve it, I’m not blind to the lyrics though, there is a lot of pain in last album obviously, I to have some real bad childhood trauma, so when I was able to handle listening to alien (it was so relatable I had to shelve it.) now it’s a huge inspiration because with all the emotions and experiences being shared there is an energizing anger of music behind it.
Obsidian so far seems to reveal a sense of tired a sense of being spent. I think you guys deserve a break when ever you need it like you guys are TOOL level, TRVE FANS don’t need an album every year and tiring you guys and your creativity down, your albums plus the deluxe versions are more then enough! And with you whole discography no one should be complaining.
You guys unloaded a lot on Alien, as a person who like many have had some hard battles, give the trauma the attention it needs but don’t let it take up all your view and leave everything in the periphery. NODE, and MESMER I think when they came out no one was ready for it, but now I can name like 15 bands post-Mesmer that take influence from that sound.
The main point is the messages in NODE and MESMER had some of the best lyrics of unity and progression as a species in a positive way, but you deliver it in a super hardcore way! 2022 needs that lol. But MOST OF ALL YOU GUYS AS ARTIST NEED TO BE TAKEN CARE OF, SO YOU ALL DESERVE THIS GORGEOUS LOCATION! Much love from a long time fan!
EDIT: I’m a combat veteran 100% permanent disability, I have many memories walking miles on roads highways streets parks you name it when life was at its lowest but those memories have NORTHLANE’s music attached to them because your music and equally your lyrics were my fuel to move forward and keep going until I got to a place I could get the help I deserved. “I shook hands with death” literally but your music help foster a “metamorphosis”, I now “aspire” to live a life the best I can, thank you guys!

ALIEN was a killer-album but after some songs of Obsidian I am totally in-it...man the sound is awesome, the drums kick-ass DAMN! I love Obsidian...FANTASTIC RECORD guys! thank you! The combination of trance and metalcore is unique! best of both worlds. Great job! Hopefully we will get some additional tracks with a special edition. Fuckin' awesome!
