I absolutely love this movie! Those camera shots inside the tennis ball got me hype yo! I love seeing that kind of innovation in film. You’re 1000% right all 3 of these people are toxic as hell 😂. It took me some time to try to get what Toshi was actually after and I think she’s just a thrill junkie. And now that she can’t perform anymore she’s trying to live vicariously through the two dudes she enjoys manipulating. It’s riveting stuff
That’s what I was thinking. That she just enjoys the thrill of it all and wants things for her personal gain. Same for the guys. Toxic drama all around 🤣
Oh shit! I forgot about that Spider-verse reference 😂
Chaotically Fashionable Is a perfect way to describe this movie. Yo, it felt like we were flies on the wall. I felt uncomfortable sometimes, like I was peeping on private moments, lol. Also, you're not crazy. We used to get a lot of really well-made love triangle movies back in the 90s. The music was definitely way too loud
Ok I’m glad I’m not the only one who saw the 90’s vision😅but I think those uncomfortable moments made it such a memorable experience.
LOL agree on the chemistry, you felt it through the screen for sure. Amazing review and enjoyed your insight. The time jumps starting to kill me in the end, 60 mins ago? FROM WHAT YEAR?! Was kind of odd.

You definitely enjoyed this one more than me but I will say this, I’m SO GLAD that you agree with me on the time jumps and the music being way too loud in scenes, two choices that weren’t needed at all 😂
P.s I suck at tennis!
The time jumping and overly loud music in this movie should be a crime🤣but outside of that I thought it was a fantastic drama
At least we can agree about the time jumps and the music being too loud. I’m not sure where this ends up money wise. It had a budget of 55 million and only made 15 million.
Yeah I don’t know if it will break even in the box office, let alone, hit 55 million. Then again I could be wrong 🤷🏾♂️
Super dope review, it did feel like a 90s movie. It was a beautifully shot film, I wasn't the biggest fan of the film as a whole though. It was ok at best.
Ok thank god folks saw what I was trying to say😅at least there is something for folks to appreciate in the film as a whole.
