Holy shit, how come no one's talking about this game!? Probably the most gorgeous looking pixel art game I've ever seen. The animations, the lighting, the sfx, the music; it's all so grand! Yet, I hardly hear anyone mentioning this game at all. What's the deal?
@@lobosalt6868 The reason the dialogue is in there is because it's meant to be enjoyed not rushed through. There's very few games out there that provide this high caliber of an experience.
@@brettpardue8786 I love this game to bits but the dialogue still seems over written, and the story/characters could’ve been better fleshed out. Still 9/10 though, I have high expectations for the sequel.

This is probably the most dialogue heavy game I've ever played and wasn't really that much into pixel art games before this but I was just so invested in the characters and thought they had so much personality that I never really minded the reading and always wanted to find out what happened next.
The animation is very nice, I love games with detailed animation and care about it a bit more than the gameplay. Btw, will you feature Unsighted? I played the game's demo and I think it's also a nice game with the parry mechanic.

I think it's all real and Solomon and the other version of Sam we're just saying that it was an illusion to get in John and Sam's head to create doubt so they think that they have no power.
Honestly bravo on this one considering how easy it is to take damage in this game. Especially when you have a little extra hitbox trailing behind you for most of the game AND contact damage is a thing.
32.5 hours beaten the game, quite fun, there is a game inside the game too, good to try, but the story ...... seem missing something, just not completed to me.
The ending ruined the game IMO (too dark; they should have gone back to New Dam City together), but yeah this game had amazing gameplay, art, characters, and the bosses were very creative. A robot hulk in a dark hallway, Isabel was very difficult to fight (so was the Miasma monster and Solomon 1). Solomon 2 is such a silly villain (in a good way); he's comic relief. The battle is so silly, an evil monkey train with banana bombs, but there's something so satisfying about hitting a train with a frying pan
What a huge disappointment. This game had all the right pieces to be an instant classic, a real shame it took the barebones gameplay + awfully annoying writing route.

I haven't felt that amount of intense energy in a boss fight since the final 2 Agent Black fights in Iconoclasts.
