If the earth were flat, that would mean that some or all celestial bodies would be flat as well, thus we would look up in the sky and see some of these flat disks on their sides and they would look like thin shiny slivers or some would be partially tilted and have distorted oval shapes, etc. This is so elementary. I think flat earthers just want attention they didn't get from their parents when they were growing up.
Circumference of earth can be reasonably calculated from observing shadows of sticks... the cost= very little. More than 2,000 years ago Eratosthenescompared the position of the Sun's rays in two locations to calculate the spherical size of the Earth with reasonable accuracy.

Back in the 70s is when everything really started to climb, tax brackets began going down for the wealthiest, and money became fiat... and yep I make pretty close to your guess over here, but even with the higher cost of living associated with being on an island where most goods are imported, with or without considering the exchange rate, my groceries are still cheaper than yours, and I can afford to eat healthy and fresh. I left a hopeless job market making peanuts, running the temp circuit and having to start over every and barely avoiding eviction, and forget about dental or actually going to the hospital, to having a job within two weeks with a great company, all the benefits like 4 weeks paid holiday, better pay, and today I own my own business. You can call me names because I enjoy actually having money and being able to afford things like travel or a new phone without worrying about it, but I didnt grow up in this super cheap world that you did. I had to fight for everything I had and a fulltime job in a factory woulnt buy a house for me like it would have for you. That in itself is the whole issue.
wtf I just watched a 2 minute video of the launch and he in fact came back down in the rocket and was very much alive as his crew helped him get out of it while cheering. He was complaining that his back was all messed up from the crash landing. so wtf is really going on?

Even small general aviation planes fly much higher than 5000 feet AGL. Airliners fly to as high as 41000 or more. I just fail to see the logic, of going to so much expense, time, trouble, and risk, sadly ending in the mans death, to accomplish something that a simple plane ride could have easily and much more safely accomplished and from a much greater altitude.
Where is the footage of him getting in the rocket?????????? Everyother launch showed it.... Something isn't right about this........ he has done this before with no serious issues and there was full footage from beginning to end and this time everything is different. I didnt even know he was working on another rocket untill he is now announced dead. The last time he did this a few weeks later he said he said he will probably run for public office which those of us in the know was a hint to us that he was getting to close to something and was warned to stop what he was doing....... most of us following him knew it was odd and waaaaaaaay out of place for him to say that and now its clear why. He didn't listen and paid with his life as most do when they don't stop... I don't understand how his parachute just flew out without him attached seconds after takeoff.....this defies logic
he was NOT doing it to "prove" the earth is flat, despite what you hear read or seen. Not in these Recent Launches, past couple years! maybe in his other one, that he was planning for ahead sometime! where he was planning on trying to get up to about 60miles up or near the Karman line /edge of space. These ones that he's already did, were nowhere near high enough (and he knows it too), in fact, the mountain right besides his launches were higher altitude than he was going up! ok?! sheesh
