I keep mine in my backpack. On the plane, I put the backpack in the overhead and keep this at the seat with me with whatever I might want during the flight. Around the city, I use it to carry my camera and whatever else I might want while walking around. It’s a great, well-made bag.
You forgot to mention that the gatekeeper strap can also attach in "fanny pack mode", meant to allow wear as a hip bag but also changes the cross-body carry to be more like a sling than a sacoche/satchel. Also, shouldn't this be titled "quick hit" rather than "in-depth"? Fits the style of the other ones. (Full disclosure: just came from a Reddit post about carefully differentiating between review types)
Hey drzausable, we recommend checking out the full review where we go into more detail on the optional Gate Keeper Waist Strap, which allows you to wear the Side Kick as a waist pack: packhacker.com/travel-gear/tom-bihn/side-kick/ When it comes to the titles of these videos, in the past, everything on this channel was called a Quick Look Review, but as some of these videos began going ten minutes plus, they weren't really "quick" anymore. We now differentiate between an "In-Depth Review", where you'll also be able to find a full written review over on the website, and a "Hands-On Review" which doesn't. However, as always we'll take your feedback onboard and have another look at the naming process. - Rebecca
How did you use it as a pouch? Was it clipped into a bag?, did you use carabiners?, was it an admin pouch? What bags did you put it in? I was thinking of using carabiners to put this in a gr0. Btw thanks for your content, I always enjoy these looks into products!

The giant UK Mac power brick makes it look awkward. Best suited for small items, like wallets, phones, smaller/thinner phone/tablet chargers or portable rechargeable power bricks.
Technically it barely fits, but I would never do it since it kind of stretches the zipper a bit and I can’t much else inside while the iPad is in there
The iPad Pro 11” can fit in the Halcyon version of the Side Kick but without a case of any kind (don’t know how this would work if you had the Smart Cover.

“It’s a satchel . Indiana Jones wears one”
can it fit an iPad mini ?
If you've got one of them easily on hand, would a switch/switch lite fit in there?
regular Switch with the JoyCons attached fits perfectly in the center compartment!
@@mochipengin thanks!
Hello, can this bag fit a 600ml water bottle with an iPhone & a Kindle basic (smallest one)?
I’ve been wondering that too
Did I miss the part where you model it for us???
