Apr. 10, 2023 Well, Mr. George is up to his old tricks again!! I think he just really likes to surprise you with different things, (trailer, asking for your help to pick out 2nd hand new equip, etc.) I also wouldn't be surprised if he ends up buying your field, just so he makes sure you have the money you need for the down payment. I mean, he can always turn around and sell the property later, either to the people that bought his farm or to someone else. I really like both plots you've looked at but becuz of the buildings on plot 1, I think it would be the best starter. You're going to be super busy helping Mr. G on Court Farms, at least for the first harvesting season and if he gets additional animals (chickens, sheep and more cows), you won't have time to worry about owning a larger field. The set-up for plot 1 is pretty ideal actually; especially if the people who own that house next to that plot decide to sell. Voila!!! Instant house!! LOL That little fenced off section would be perfect for some starter chickens. Fresh eggs for breakfast is always a plus!! I don't know how you come up with the various stories for this series but all I can say is,.....you're amazing!!! I read somewhere that Mr. G is loosely based off characteristics of your father. That makes this series even more special to me. Love and hugs to you both. Take care. 💙🫂
I agree you definitely can't go wrong with eggs for breakfast especially with a bacon sarnie or fry-up! It makes me think of that song "how do you like your eggs in the morning?". I have certainly drawn a lot of inspiration for George from my own Dad! Take care of yourself Dust Bunny!

I would have made the animal trailer the biggest priority and I would have bought that one first from where you are now so that the animal trailer would help you out with the move, also I would try to convince George into selling the hey bob so it is less to take. The combine won't be needed till next year, so not as important, but money must be put aside for it. But I do wonder if George is going to get Mick to make an A-frame boggy out of that hay bob to make a front end for a low loader.
I think a Fertilizer spreader would be a good idea

Scroft, you baled 8 bales and you're getting 5 more. At around 31:44 you told George you'll have 12 bales. 8+5=13!! Ha Ha. Love the video.

Another fantastic episode, love it when George spends his money and upgrades machinery, agree about the CASE at the dealership, not a tractor to me, JCB’s are just about acceptable as a tractor but no bigger, think you should scout out a dealership near the new farm as the might have better choice and better prices, you never know, plus it would save you carting some stuff over, if it was cheaper, as they say nothing ventured nothing gained, would possibly invest in a front loader for one of the tractors, would save having to get the loadall every time and tacking it to the field to load bails.
Loving this Scroft, the balance between the gameplay, scene's and the story is spot on.

Loving this Scroft, don't think I have ever waited so much for a next video of someone's to come out. This has got me back into Farm Sim and will hopefully start streaming it again on regular basis :)

Scroft leasing a harvester may be cheaper then paying for one just to sit on the farm rusting till the next time you need it, plus saving on repairs or new parts. Money else where well be better..

As always great episode great series it amazes me that you actually do the voices and yes I watched all of your series that you do balley Springs is amazing too you're on top of my list when it comes to content creators keep up the good work can't wait to see more
We're upgrading the kit and I have a sneaking feeling Mick is gonna help us move kit to and from Court during the move since I did spot those FH-16's at his place not to long ago. Plus he has that JCB but that's gonna be a nightmare haul on the freeways if you have to take'em via Freeway.
Another amazing episode scroft. Don’t think George is a fan of the quad track lol. Seems George can spot the dodgy characters down at the store can see George setting up the community watch scheme at the pub over at court farms. Will give him a good excuse to do some more faffing 😂
