Thanks man I’m trying to focus on being smoother, both with flip rotations and the landings. Thanks for the support man glad to see you back posting vids 🤘🏼🤘🏼🚀🔥 bash on man 💪🏼
You've got one of the most beautiful places on earth to bash I'm jealous. The jumps at the 5:45 and 8:45 marks are killer. I finally got a call from a job that pays good. I'll be able to buy some repair parts and put a new sheet on the ramp. Can't wait to get out in bash again, it's been forever. For now I can live vicariously through you lol. Love the sound track btw. FINAL BOSS had me crackin up. Take it easy!!
Thanks man much appreciated! yea it can be a huge slice of heaven haha but, unfortunately with heaven comes hell lol it’s been raining non stop for weeks now. My season is over, and it will be a bit before solid winter bashing is to be had. Good with the bad 🤷🏼♂️💪🏼 congrats on the work stuff, it’s always better when we can afford to fix what keeps us sane bahaha thanks for the support homie, hope you’re bashing in no time! 🤘🏼🤘🏼💪🏼🚀🔥
Thanks lol I’m always looking for the positive side, this is all for fun and I know I’m pushing this stuff. Part of progression is risk, part of the reward is past failures 🤘🏼🤘🏼💪🏼🔥🚀 bash on man! Thanks for stopping by 😜
Thanks! Yea I was going for all the boost, seeing how big it can send. The wheelies are its biggest hinderance, when it comes back from the dead it should be a little more “capable” haha thanks for stopping by and showing support! 🤘🏼🤘🏼🚀🔥💪🏼
Thanks 🤘🏼😜 starting to move past seeing how big is possible and working on style and form. Crazy sketchy tricks can make a good highlight reel but the good stuff is smooth 😜
Crushed it brother 💪 🔥you made some monster launches!! 🤙 im surprised it lasted that long honestly lol, prior to mods I was breaking on much smaller jumps than this 😂
lol thank ya, yea she was struggling to keep her composure on some of those launches, eventually she got tired and said nahh, son! Temps are dropping we are 40-50*F time to put the plastic up for the winter. Thanks for stopping by 💪🏼
Too bad on the broken control (a) arm. Does RPM make em' for these? The rocks stuck in the steering might annoy me. All ARRMA I have are 6s builds. A motocross track would put me in RC heaven 😅. Good run. Hopefully, you're enjoying this one. This is one of very few RC videos I've watched since getting a different 1:1 vehicle, lately. All my focus has been on that instead. Had a chevy HHR's subframe rust all the way through, so had to get something newer and different. Took measures to fight the rust this time around. Fluid Film all up into and outside the subframe of a little AWD vehicle.
The arm didn’t actually break, the pin bent, pulled out. When it let go it snapped the small little section of the chassis the arm pin runs through. Toasted another chassis, that’s the third one in under a year a total of probably 7-10 packs total outta the truck. Sits more than anything. I’m not a fan of this style, the plastic chassis and the short length. I’m a 6s and 8s kinda guy as well. I love the Outcast though so I figured I’d give it a go. I feel like I’m downgrading when I run this though my other stuff does much better and is more reliable, for the most part. I hear ya about stepping away for a spell due to other interests, and I appreciate that it was my stuff that drew ya back. I’ve been completely engulfed in Onewheel content as of late. Completely taking over my life lol if I’m not riding it I’m watching vids and researching. What kind of product did you use for the rustproofing? Have you heard of POR 15?
@StraitJacketRC Por 15? I have. Have never used it. To my knowledge, that stuff is best used as something for a frame up resto build. Could be wrong, but have seen videos of a lot of success with Fluid Film. Basically, any of the products that use lanolin. I don't have the means or equipment to buy it in pails and use pressurized air, so I just bought $100 worth of spray cans and a special 3ft spray line with a 360 degree spray tip to get into the drain holes of the subframe. Maybe next year I'll get more extensive with spraying inside the door jams. I have the red straw extensions that are even longer to spray inside unreachable nooks as well. Rust gets our vehicles in MI before the engines have a chance to wear out. Did my own oil changes this year. First time ever. I'm far from mechanically inclined, so it's a big deal to me. Doesn't take much to make me feel a sense of accomplishment. I always just did a little detailing from past dealer jobs, but at $100+ for a synthetic oil change, I thought it's worth it to have a proper jack + stands and do it myself for $30. Sacrificed the toys this year for it. Well, the plastic chassis is the reason I'm staying with a 6s platform. I figured they'd be like that. As far as I'm concerned, they're no more reliable than an E-Maxx lol. For something smaller, I went with building my own Senton 6s with Typhon parts. Plain old V5 short chassis good enough for me. Can always get 2.8 MT's on em' if desired. I think. But I won't go any less to the plastic fantastic completely. Your video and explanation solidified that for me. I think Alaska is just too cold for plastic. MI too. For a chassis, it's just not feasible. Maybe for 1/18th. But not 1/10th on up.
Hell, yeah!!!🤩 Nice sends, brother...🔥🚀 And those on point butter 🧈 smooth landings were nice...👍🏼💯
