i've adopted your method of knitting because i wanted to learn continental for stranded colorwork. the way you purl is like magic! i don't know how the needle grips the yarn yet it does everytime. it's so fun and neat and i have no tension problems at all using your method. thank you for all the tutorials!
Please please please make more videos. I love watching and following your works. I'm so new at knitting but because of you I can now wear my very own work. I don't know if I can but I would like to ask if you can make a video of how to make a mohair cardigan?
Hey Natakorn. Thank you so much for watching my videos :) At the moment I am making another sweater, but after that maybe I will consider to make a cardigan with mohair :)
hi! i love your video's, they are so relaxing. i'm knitting this sweater for a friend and i was wondering if you could tell me how many times you repeated rows A1 en A2. i tried to count the stiches on the side of your work and if i'm correct you repeated them 7 times? i would love to see you react to my comment :)
in case anyone else comes to this and is wondering the same, I think it's just because she narrows the sleeve, and for that number of stitches it would be a bit stretched out on 40cm circular needles, and so DPNs allow you to work in the round with a smaller number of stitches than would be comfortable on the 40cm.
I'm definitely going to try this, but a little confused, I noticed some instances where the pattern said to knit but in the video you were purling (for example at 21:35)
Hey. Yeah I make so many mistakes when I am trying to write subtitles. So yeah it's purling, not knitting. Thank you for noticing this. I hope you will enjoy knitting this.
@@handmadebyaura64 Not a problem, thank you for clarifying 😊 I plan on knitting this as my first big knit as I usually do scarfs, hats and a few shawls, so this will be a challenge for me
I want to knit this for my 12 yr old daughter who is on the skinnier side. Not sure how many stitches to start with. It would be great if you could suggest me. Thanks.
Hi Selin. 1. you need to cast on more stitches. 2. Where I cast off 'armpits' (I don't know what it is called) maybe instead of 9 stitches cast off 11 st. or if you need a bit more cast off 13 (But I don't think you need that much) and later decrease as I did. 3. The neck hole depends on how much you want your shoulder width to be. For example, after decreasing arm holes you have 90st left and you want your shoulder strap to be 25st. (25*2=50). so 90st -50 st = 40 st. so you need to decrease 40 st to make a round neckhole. I hope you did understand what I explained.

This is so gorgeous and the color❤️❤️😍😍

When making the ribbing for the sleeve, why did you switch to dpns insteas of circular needles? Is it necessary?

Hello! Thank you for tutorial! I want to ask what mean k and p? I'm not English speaker so can't understand
this is very nice, do you have a V neck knit sweater video???

Another fantastic tutorial.
Would you mind sharing what size is this sweater and how much yearn have you used in total.
Thank you Aura !
Hey. I think the size is S. I used 306g to knit it. Its like 7 balls of 50g yarn.
@@handmadebyaura64 Thanks million :-)
Nevermind..xsmall am I correct?
I absolutely love this sweater! I don’t know what it is. Do you crochet? I’d love to crochet it.

I love this pattern! What yarn did you use please?
Hey AV, I used DK yarn (drops - cotton light)
Brilliant thanks, such a gorgeous colour 😍 keep up the amazing work, love your videos x
What should we do if we want to knit bigger sizes?
Hi Selin.
1. you need to cast on more stitches.

@@handmadebyaura64 you are amazing thank you so much for your time ♥️
Drops needs to sponsor you by now.
lol :) I just like to use cheap yarn as to make something that I never done before I waste so much yarn too.
@@handmadebyaura64 me too. That's why I like Drops so much. It gives you room to experiment.
Omg, it looks so cute! I can't wait to try it out! 💗💗💗
Btw, what size is it?
I am glad you like it :) Its hard for me to tell the size. I am wearing M, but sweater is tight (but I wanted it tight) so probably S.
Hello, can this be adapted for other sizes ? Thank you
this video was so helpful! may I ask how many a1, a2 rows you knitted for your pattern? im not sure how long to make each section.
I was just attempting this same sweater x did you have any record of how many a1 and a2 rows you used please?
@@karenrawe5358 Yes! I''ll paste the pattern I wrote in my notes here:
FRONT
18 border

16 arms
36 sleeves
4 + bind sleeves
BACK option 2
SAME up to 16 sleeves
29 upper body
1 binding centre 26
10 + 1 or 2 + bind sleeves
I made a few different versions, but I think in my original pattern, the total length of the front panel was 100 rows
Such a beautiful color
I like this colour too :)
This is what i was waiting for!
Hey! Would this pattern still work with bulky yarn and 9 mm circular needles ?
Love you
can I use 4.5mm 40cm circular needle to make this sweater?
Hey KC Y. Definately you can!
around 5:25, purl all stitches means all 160 stitches or only 80 stitches? and what does R1 R2 A1 A2 means?
where do you buy your yarn? is there a website for it?
Hi at 5:39 what does skpo mean?
Thanks!
Do you use in your videos US Needles ?
How many balls of yarn did u use for this size? 50g or 100g per ball
Hey. I used 7 bals of 50g :)
@@handmadebyaura64 Thank you for your respond. Looking forward for your next lovely and helpful tutorial ❤ sending love from malaysia
