Definitely helps. I’ve been having the same problem for over a month now and I replaced the whole brake system about to go out to the garage and try it
@Brayxden17 you can try to bleed it like we did. We just weren't having luck longterm. We would get the brakes working a little, next ride no brakes again. For the $20 we spent, not having to mess with it and knowing the kids will have brakes when they need them was worth it for me.
Would anybody happen to have a exploded view of the rear brake caliper? Two times my son was riding his Go Kart and the brake pads fell out. Apparently there are a few clips possibly springs that are supposed to hold everything in place and I can’t seem to find a picture of them.

Hopefully you can get them working. It's a real pain when they are being a problem.
Thanks
I’m having the same problem but do I have to buy a new one and replace it ?

@@bucksgarage1 yeah because I drive mine with my brakes not working
But it stops pretty quick when I lift my foot off the gas
