I love this tutorial! It was so easy to follow and I could adjust it to make smaller jellyfish. For a medium sized jellyfish I stopped at row 5 of increases (30 stitches), did 5 rows of no increase or decrease, then did one row of decreases normally (24 stitches) and finally the last three rows of decreases in the back loop only. I ended up having 6 tentacles and did the fluffy border/popcorn-like stitches the same way you did it. For a small sized jellyfish I stopped at 4 rows of increases (24 stitches), did 4 rows of no increase or decrease, then did one row of decreasing normally (18 stitches), and finally did the last 2 rows of decreases in the back loop only. I made the tentacles a little shorter and slip stitched every 2 stitches instead of 3. After my last tentacle, I slip stitched 2 and then slip stitched to join into the first round of BLO. And for the fluffy border I used half double crochets instead of double crochets to make it smaller. I find that this size is perfect for a small keychain.

thank you so much it was so easy to follow as a beginner! and she's so cute. one thing, I don't know if I missed it or you didn't tell in the video, but it would have been nice to know how much yarn we needed.. I don't have enough to finish so I don't know how I will manage :( I am a foreigner so maybe I didn't understand if you mentioned it in your video ^^
50 g of 5 ply yarn is enough for one jellyfish ♡

This was the best tutorial ever! Such a fun and quick make. I made the jellyfish in pink. I’m off to see what other tutorials you have so I can make her a friend. Or it could be a him? Are jellyfish one sex or are they both? Or can they change? Whatever the case, they need some little aquatic pals ❤
