I have the hardest time fading my son's hair because it's so thin. I've never tried this method, always used the fade guards. Thanks for the tutorial!!!
Wow love the is I cut my sons hair all the time as a stylist myself but I’ve never taken a class for male haircuts. This video was so detailed thank you so much!! Will practice the fade because this is the hardest for me. But you did such a great job explaining the process 🙏
I want to try this haircut on my son for barber school thing is.. question would I be using my taper comb with the same techniques ? Because I can t use guards lol 😅thanks
I really want to learn how to do this kind of fade. I don’t quite understand the numbers aspect of it…well actually, I don’t understand the lever either. I need to learn to do this proper…no problem!
The numbers are just how long or how short you want the hair to be when fading in. The lever adjust the blade in smaller or larger increments for more fine cutting.
I’d recommend using hair clips if his hair is long to keep your line in place. I usually fade the sides then scissor cut the top. Just keep your lines straight (or in line to the head shape). Always start with a longer guard. You can’t add back the hair you cut off. Well over time it’ll grow back. Good luck, if you haven’t already done it. I’m not a professional. I’ve just been cutting my own hair for a little over a year. Came here for some ideas for my son. Can’t go wrong with a fade. EDIT: also look up how to blend the hair. A simple rocking motion with a razor works, but there is also other methods.
You said use number 4 with it open and then did the ad for the clippers so I’m confused what did you do after the 4? It looked like you went to straight to clippers with no guard or a 0?
LoL this guy is very nice. Here is how I would have handled the back. "Bro! You have a hole in your neck, that's weird." Kid runs off to his mom, my job is done :)
I had my doubts that the lines would disappear… but i trusted the process. Not sure i could actually do this though lol
I was worried too but the more you do it the more you’ll get it just go slow at first
Thanks!
Not even a like from the creator, nice...
Thank you!!!!
Unfortunately I didn’t get a notification for it, but I’m super appreciative!
