Is removing moles cause cancer?
Hi doctor. I just got my facial mole removed woth CO2 laser. Is the removal permanent or can i come back ? Because online they say few cells can remain and regrow the mole.

I had two mole removed and the dermatologist took out a larger area then the mole, like a patch, i'm not happy because of the scar and area of skin removed, is this common and necessary to take out more area then the actual mole? thanks
what was the area of removal?
Sometimes they remove a bit of extra skin to make sure they got all the cells out
@@user-xl9jo3ez8z ok, that's what I was thinking, I actually went to another dermatologist before this one and I liked there technique better because they only took out the actual mole, but it's done now so can't redo it
@@user-xl9jo3ez8z lol I thought about doing that but you have to get all 3 layers of skin, no they didn't, I had 3 removed, 2 were atypical and making me a little paranoid so I had them removed just to feel better, 1 was evolving so that was the most important one glad i got that out, they didn't grow back but I went to a dermatologist who removed the whole thing from the roots 6 years ago

i removed my mole surgically by excision yesterday and got stiches. Today I have fever, is that normal to happen after such peocedure?
