- Hello beautiful people! I'm so excited to show you step by step how to make these reuseable, washable, eco-friendly breast pads /nursing pads. I love these, they are so simple and easy, they reduce our waste and recycle fabric and save heaps of money! They are great baby shower gifts if you have friends having babies and are a great way to nurture yourself and the environment too if you are about to become a mother🌿 they are so soft and comfortable and you can use them over and over again!
Creating and making things has helped/ still helps me so much with my mental health, it literally saved me and if I can share these skills and help someone else then that's why I'm here. I’m still using my cloth nursing pads from my middle child who is 6 now :-)
How good are they?! They absorb so much, like way more than the disposable ones, and you can just wash them so easily! ❤️
Hiya, do these leak though? What’s the waterproof layer to avoid that? I’d love to make them!
I haven't had them leak through yet! It's just waterproof material from spotlight (craftspersons in australia) ❤️ Big love
The layers of microfibre absorb so much I haven't even had s problem with leakage on some trial ones I did just using tightly woven cotton on one side and flannelette on the other
