You're so talented to hit that transition to falseto in ''i'll shelter and adore you'' so so smoothly and clearly. I've been trying to do it for weeks and it's so hard to go there from the previous note in the same breath and to go down again. Any tips?
well the flip to falsetto is kind of like a yodel, practicing the "hard flip" has been a many year long process and there were many takes for this video where it didnt hit and I had to try again lol on the transition back down kind of the same story but you can either blend with breathy singing on just pick the note that you go full back to chest voice on (like the actual voice actor does) I chose the blend method. Hope this helps :)

@minebloxgaming1 There are lots of singing tips videos on YT, most of them are decent I’d say to start there, beyond that I think it’s very beneficial to get a vocal coach that can give you direct feedback and help you know what you need to focus on. It really does come down to time and practice at the end of the day 😊

Im late for this train but oh my GOD.. this was absolutely insanely good! Ive been learning Lucidera part for this (as a trans woman without vocal training, I absolutely cannot hit Charlies highs lmfao). But seriously though this was incredible

Sorry I never replied to this I thought I had. The pitch shift thing is called falsetto. It’s kind of like singing through your face more than your chest. An easy way to feel what it should feel like is if you try to yodel (it’s ok if it sounds silly) and when you feel the “flip” between the lower note and higher note that’s what you’re going for.
You could also suggest a collab with HappinessHeartsandHazbin, I'm sure she'd love to voice Charlie for a cover with you. Your voices would go together so well!@@EricBain
