Dude, where do you find the money to find your stash? I have been looking into starting a side business, why I have been watching danny. Keep up the hard work guys..
After not collecting pokemon cards since I was young, I am now trying to complete master Sets of expansions going forward. Thank you Danny for making this channel and giving me that Inspiration to continue with the fun after many years :)
I understand your frustration. Every store (except for Target) seems to be completely sold out of everything. And the only reason Target isnt is because they have huge amounts of product that are still being printed and don’t seem very popular right now so no one is picking them up. I’ve been to 4 different Walmart’s that had less that 5 Pokémon card products each. It’s insane. I respect the grind and what you’re trying to do with this business, and I’m hoping for the best. Keep doing your thing.
None of that makes you greedy man.. it makes you a father, a husband, a family man. We're very similar. Do NOT feel bad EVER for grinding to make sure you and your family are taken care of! I've spent the past 6 months just researching, watching, waiting until I can start my business and it could happen soon, just waiting for the additional funds so I can take the leap. Your videos inspire me, Keep grinding. I hope everything works out for you!
I know this video came out months ago, but this is the one that made me finally subscribe just now... Just genuine, truthful, informed and you put the collector first. It’s July 2021 now and we are STILL having this problem. Walmart has not one Pokémon product. No binders, no cards, nothing. Target finally just started putting some product back on the shelves. My local gaming store is running low and the cards he has are often damaged trade ins but I still go there even just to buy penny sleeves because the dude is grinding and he’s a gamer and collector himself. Love what you’re doing here... keep the videos coming! And you are exactly right... never take advantage, but you gotta charge enough to put food on the table. You’re the gold standard 👏🙌
yeah I feel this so bad. the gf and I got into pokemon collecting about 2 years ago when we discovered evo. every time we would go to target or walmart wed pick up evo packs because they were cheap and plentiful. and as we were approaching our master collection finish line the logan paul stuff destroyed the evo market and now it just feels bad thinking about having to buy overpiced singles to get my finished collection rather than joyfully opening the ocasional pack here and there trying to find those cards.
THANK YOU DANNY THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! Someone needed to say it! My poor Twitter doesn’t have enough followers for my rants to reach but you said it far better than I ever could!
It’s pretty crazy in the UK as well. Danny, thank you for all your advice I don’t think there is another you tube channel like yours. You’ve really hit a niche and more people should know about it!
I really respect how you run your business and this latest series of videos have been immensely helpful. As someone just getting into the hobby again it is really rough trying to find anything at MSRP, and I am just trying to collect the cards not trying to make a quick buck. I wish you the best of luck with these issues.
I love the idea about the raffle for getting hot items to collectors, really cool! Sorry you guys are struggling to get products, we know you are trying hard and you guys are appreciated!! Thank you!
Danny, thank you for this timely rant. And thank you for all of the videos you've posted recently - your passion and ability to educate is a gift. Regarding this rant: As an original seller of Pokemon cards back in the day, and having cracked open my collection for sales this year, it's been amazing and frustrating to watch the amount of flippers who are buying product from the shelves without any long term plan or understanding the havoc they are doing by keeping product from the kids and collectors who enjoy them. As a business owner, keeping to MSRP is a fine goal. And yet, the margin is very thin. You are a man of integrity - not greed - and you are trying to do the right thing for your customers. Here's something to think about, while a booster box might have originally listed at 90 dollars, if you do the math and apply $4 to each pack, that would make the MSRP an actual $144 per box. The same price as if you had cracked open the box and sold the packs individually. Even my local Walgreen charges $4.99 a pack, not $3.99. As a collector buying booster boxes - $144 for something with a limited print run before the holidays - that I may want to open, display, give as a gift, tuck away for the next 20 years, etc - is a price that is not gauging your customers and helping you make a guilt free profit. To your continued success!
Thank you very much for acknowledging the bot problem and thinking of ways to help fans. I understand that Pokemon needs to produce more product, that is what's causing the scarcity in the first place. If product was widely available, then scalping wouldn't be as incentivized as it is. Thanks for caring and sharing your honest thoughts. I appreciate the raw talk.
Love watching and listening to what you gotta say brother. I've learned some great stuff from you in the past couple months. KEEP IT COMING! And stay strong, we listen and love you man.
Keep being you bro in the end your kids are going to see the hard work you put in and eventually that’ll teach them to work hard for what they want and never take the easy way out 🙏🏻💪🏼
I can relate to your frustration, this is what happens when business is going good, you end up getting people who jump in thinking money is easy when you had to starve during the famine stages of business. Just stay calm, they will go away.
I was that guy with the phone last night but instead of looking to sell on ebay I was messaging my friends on Instagram to see if they needed anything for msrp plus shipping to expand their collection. I can't stand all these people jumping in to make a quick buck. I am super appreciative to you and papa for being amazing people and running a great store
Danny you are a man, I was so happy when I heard you refunded all the botters. What you doing aren’t greedy, you just want to actually live life with your family! Ill continue supporting pkmncolosseum !
I have used this channel to learn how to post singles on TCG player and just learn about the game a little more.I 1st got and a pokemon because my son loves the cards. We sit And open booster boxes on the weekend And just up then join me and get out of it The time you spends with worth it.It's crazy it's so hard to get product at a decent price anymore or even find it . Luckily I have got in good with the local card shops and they will call me when they get them in and give me a shot at MSRP. Appreciate that your company tries to do the same . I will not lie I have picked up some champions path ETBs from Wal-Mart and sold them for profit to pay the extra for the booster boxes to complete the master sets we have going. Love the content and the passion you have . Keep up the hard work man!!!
Very well put, lots of the community all in the same boat now. Very annoying this situation, can just imagine for you that you actually have a store to run as well.
I just bought a boat load of champions path, darkness ablaze, and other items.... you have probably one of the best places to buy for collectors and I will CONTINUE and will undoubtedly buy from you for years to come....
Appreciate everything you and PappaB do for us in the community Danny! If it wasnt for you guys my sealed collection wouldnt have half of what's in it now. Thank you for always going out of your way to make sure your customers get their products at the best prices possible. -tommycollects
Thank you for keeping us updated about the ups and downs. Keep up the great work. My sons and I just got back into collecting again. You guys will be our goto store.
Don’t apologize for anything, we really respect how you’re handling this crazy period in the hobby. Things might be rocky right now but just have faith things will begin to flip back around soon enough. Like you said a lot of this scarcity and craze is just from people getting into it now to make a quick buck. They won’t last forever and things will begin to normalize as time goes on.
You touched on everything I have been dealing with trying to get my business started. Lots of frustration just trying to get product. Thanks for the honest assessment of the business right now.
This is such a true and needed discussion!! I wanted to buy my son an ETB for Christmas. I went to Walmart first thing and checked the cards as scalpers are horrible here..I got there and as I notice they have 4 there, a group of 3 guys come and start grabbing at them. I snagged one and they proceeded to take the ETBs and the Kanto packages. The one guy was like is this worth it. The other was like hell ya man, we can easily double that! Then I see these posts on FB from people selling them still in the Walmart bags... Sorry rant over! Thanks Danny! We appreciate all that you do.
Completely agree with you. I'm new to recollecting and haven't really been involved in pokemon since around 2005 barring the odd game here and there. I refuse to pay the stupid money people are trying to charge for products especially CP and VV considering they're so new and mass purchasers are holding those that have been involved and passionate for years as hostages to their hobby. Its sad to see such a lovely community of people being screwed over. I hope you're managing to get by through this, wishing you best of luck.
Thanks for the transparency. We can feel the frustration and I'd say it's well understandable. You're great for the community and keep on your grind! I'm just trying to buy product to do opening videos and up my collection to actually play the game and it's super frustrating not being able to get product.
I appreciate what you do. As someone trying to get back into this business because the world shut me down. I have tried to explain to people how hard it is to do this. Hats off to you.
Oh god when you got to talking about the guy in his young 20's on his phone looking at prices that was totally me about a month ago when i first got back into pokemon cards. Totally changed my perspective, awesome video.
Definitely understand your frustrations and as a longtime collector, i cant find most things to add to my collection during these times because everything is getting scooped up and or has suffered an inflation in price i can't afford. That being said, keep it up danny we appreciate the information and with those good connection you have, you will be repaid with lots of stock:)
I appreciate the honesty honestly. Its good for people (like me) who is wanting to do this for the long haul and understand the frustrations. I don't think you should feel bad for venting, especially when you are trying to teach people about the market. I've enjoyed all your videos and look forward to more.
Thanks for keeping the hobby and community alive Danny! Just bought 36 CP packs from you and was able to complete my master set by pulling the Charizard Vmax & Shiny Charizard!
Danny, you're seriously the man. Thank you for all you do and being the most honest man in this business. I'm always super happy to give you all the business I can because of the kind of dude you are. Keep up the awesome work and thank you for the honest videos and content you're bringing too!
Yes thank you for all of this information and i am also getting frustrated because 2 years ago or a year ago it wasnt like this. And i do plan on getting into this business and develop a way like you said to only cater to collectors and not to bots. I appreciate all of the information i am absorbing all of this. You legitimately are inspiring me from collector to collector. I dont want to do this full time but just a hobby for opening and collecting and only sell what i already have. Hopefully we can do business someday im only an hour and a half away from indiana but you make it worth it to keep on trying to succeed in this. Now sorry about my rant haha
I just started collecting again and it's insane in retail stores how there is nothing. I didn't even know about the Kanto boxes until the day they released and now you can't get them anywhere. I'm interested in the promos in those and some other retail packs. I don't play the game anymore, I just enjoy the cards and collecting. It frustrating coming in at this time with that. I wish I could have someone like you has my local card shop. I have one in my town and what little pokemon they have they have jack all the prices up and even pulled some of their items for online sale only. Just keep up the good work man. You sound absolutely genuine and I love learning about the market and what is happening in TCG world via your channel.
"People are going crazy for Pokemon" No. "People are taking advantage and buying everything for the sure plan to try and re-sell for a profit." Collectors are hurting because everyone wants to make profit. It's sad.
One day the "investors" will taste a roaring skies type of reprint or just a huge print runs in general. And it will hurt them bad. And it will be only their fault. And they will cry and blame Pokemon company. :)

Gotta love them scalps always hunting killing us collectors
I totally agree Danny, I am not a vendor - but just being a collector nowadays is difficult. Every time I do to the store - all I can find is a couple packs of Rebel Clash. I have still only opened less than 10 packs of Champions Path and a new set is already coming.
I loooove this! I can’t tell you how much I appreciate what you guys do. Thanks to you I was able to buy 2 champions path ETBs for me and my son. I’m constantly checking this and Instagram for tips or just straight knowledge about what’s going on in the Pokémon world. It’s hard to buy anything now with scalpers just doubling the price and I’m just not gonna pay that. Very thankful for what you do!
i couldn't agree more with what you said, i had some guy come up to me at a target and said something about how milwaukee has to literally limit how many items people get, but hasn't hit us yet. I couldn't imagine trying to start up a business right now in this current economy, it's baffling just how much id probably have to save. Bots are disgustingly annoying and it ruins soooo much, which is exactly what I was worried about.
Hey bro. Too let you knw you Showing the People how to exactly do the single Card Business.. THIS IS THE BEST CHANNEL to learn about the Pokemon Business.
Cool shirt! It's frustrating for everyone, totalcards just took pre-orders for 4.5 and now as someone who wants a few of them I gotta be ALERT for the coming weeks. So much maintenance just to snag a few for collecting!
Great message Danny. Also you’re definitely not a greedy person. If you were greedy you wouldn’t be putting out content and sharing your knowledge and expertise. Just like you I want to take care of my family, people in need, and make an impact on the world before I go. Keep doing your thing and when the hard times come all the people who jumped in for the fad are going to hop ship and look for the next “easy buck”
As a newish collector this situation is frustrating. I've collected Pokémon cards when I was younger and recently found my old folders and really wanted to finish my Shadowless base set collection. Well loads of the holo values blew up recently and know it's impossible to get them im a decent price ☹️ As I also collect Funko pops same time the same phenomenon is happening in that community too and to be honest it sucks all of the fun from collecting when there's so many flippers around to make a quick buck.... That's why rediscovering Pokémon brought me so much joy. But right away saw the sane trend happening when my orders are getting canceled because the value skyrocketed in short amount of time and the product is basically being relisted for 5 times more then it was before
Love your videos man starting my business soon here in Australia thanks to you but getting product here is already 1000% times harder all distributors have just put delays on vivid voltage by a week from official release but that’s why I’m doing it to try and make this hobby accessible to the average collector thank you for all of your help
I stopped collecting in my teens and have recently got back into it. Trying to collect master sets. And now opening packs with my young kids who love it. Stuff is SO HARD to come by. Sucks when everything is sold out accept for ebay at 2x or 3x price. But ill still keep looking. Thanks for doing what you do!
I feel this video on a spiritual level. This video makes me want to buy more stuff from you. I wish the bots and people just trying to flip would go away. I’m just a casual collector looking for Pokémon cards for the love of Pokémon.
Amazing video Danny. Although I don't have the business size that you do and am just getting started on my journey, I feel a lot of your frustration. Keep up the incredible videos!
As someone who owns these bots and has been doing it over a year, if you want to not have a bot problem, you need to get off of Shopify. Shopify is the most botted ecommerce platform out there and there is nothing anyone can do about it as even if you blow money on antibot, the bots still work with their human modes. If you want to not have a bot problem I would suggest switching to a new platform, like Squarespace or another one since bots do not support those platforms. A raffle won't solve it either because we can gen up thousands of entries. I tried reaching out to help you with this issue but no response.
As stated before, I am more than glad to help you stop bots. You won't even need to switch platforms, technically. Respond to my comment and I can rereach out to you and I can help you. The bot problem will not go away, I can assure you that. If you want proof that I am a botter, just watch my youtube videos. I post them all lol.
@@LearnMathandPhysicswithMe Oh how naive. I mean, if you want us to continue to clean up stock everywhere, we can do that too. LOL. I'm just trying to help a small business out.
I understand your frustrations as I go through the same thing, only with sportscards. Now I'm not a flipper or somebody who has a card shop, I just like collecting and opening baseball, basketball and football cards. I do sell a lot of them after I pull some good cards that I don't collect. What gets me is that the shelves are always wiped out and I bet I only find cards on the shelves maybe once every 6 months if I'm lucky. In my town I don't think the Pokemon trend has hit hard yet. I can always find some good product as far as that's concerned. I have purchased 6 Champions Path elite trainer boxes within the last two weeks because I figured I would try and pull a Charizard and then send it off for grading. Maybe we need to get the Sportscard people and Pokemon people together and work out trades. If I find awesome Pokemon boxes on the shelves I would be more than willing to buy them for someone and trade it for sports packs, this way it helps us all out.
Another great vid Danny, hopefully the business becomes smoother soon! Keep up the amazing work on the website even with the crazy demand right now. I'm excited for the reprint of Champions path in December so I can continue supporting your website! You are truly a gem on RUclips!
Danny you’re the best, was very disappointed with the bot situation on the Kanye Power Collection Boxes. I really like the raffle idea you implemented; really looking out for the true collectors
i've been starting my collectibles business for 2 years now , just got it registered and saving capital but your journey really inspires me to keep pushing and be in it for the long haul Keep up the amazing work and just keep pestering the suppliers hehe :D
I feel your frustration... As a collector, I want the market to reset some, a lot of what I see is without logic, like you mentioned; I can go into a Target or Walmart and see the shelves completely obliterated... It feels like we are living in a world with crazy artificial demand. Product is sold out at MSRP in a snap and relisted on an average of 50% markup. But it seems like a lot of that product doesn't move or moves very slowly (e.g. When Evolutions skyrocketed out of nowhere to about $500 a box, Deriums had a case and around 6 boxes available, they were listed at $2700 for the case, and $500 for the boxes... that case and boxes are still available... so, when I see that I question whether or not the market value of those boxes is legitimately $500 or if its been built up artificially by people just buying out as much stock as they can and artificially instituting a new price point... Side Note: Deriums is awesome, I have bought from him several times and will most likely do so again in the future... I was just using his product as an example) Another reason I want to see the market reset, is because there are too many people who are pushing up prices in a way that doesnt make sense and frankly seems dangerous for some... Example: A PSA10 1st Edition Base Charizard (arguably the most sought after card in the hobby) sold in Dec 2019 for $36,110... recently Logic bought one for I believe $225,000... that represents a 623% increase in, again, arguably the most sought after card in the hobby... A PSA 10 Evolutions Charizard sold in Dec 2019 (same time as the 1st Edition Base) for $295... it recently sold in PWCC auctions for $6400... that represents 2169% increase... One card is 21 years old... the other 4 years old... one had a single print run... the other was printed into the ground to the point that 4 years later (in June) you could still find boxes at $100... I could be wrong but I feel like SO MANY people have come into the hobby and all they know is CHARIZARD is GOLD!!... get the charizard... get the charizard... and while I'll concede that Charizard is highly collectible, not every artwork/card is the ticket to Wonka's factory, but it seems like thats the environment we are operating in today... Pokemon could put out the derpiest Charizard ever and it would instantly cost $100 raw and fetch like $300 graded). To the point about it being dangerous.. I have 2 Evo Zards coming back from PSA soon and will most likely fetch 9's... Im hesitant to sell one of them at the current market value (about $500) because you have to imagine with as much sealed Evolutions product that exists, with all the people now grading their cards the number of PSA 9's which is already over 3100, is going to continue to climb and as supply increases, the price is going to drop, as the price drops, those flippers and fair weather investors are going to start moving off their positions and then it becomes a fire sale and 9 will be back down to $100 or less... it is a reprint of the original base set artwork but it is so much more common than the actual original. Well, I rambled on... my apologies... I am concerned for a lot of people out there throwing more money then they can afford at this hobby because its UP, UP, and AWAY... this growth rate is not sustainable, and some people are gonna get bit... You just hope that if they do take a massive hit, that they truly enjoy the cards and will be happy with having them in their collection, despite how much they may have depreciated since they purchased them.
Its gotten ridiculous on the pokemon groups on Facebook. So many grifters. And people pay the prices because they can't get them locally. Keep your head up man.
I feel your pain brother . Its tough right now to get anything with the distributor I'm literally doing the same thing to keep things in stock shoooing retail just to break even . There is nothing wrong for wanting to give your family everything
Hear you there, especially for small retailers. Had a distributor tell me I need to spend $100k to get products because right now they’re going to the larger buyers.
Breathe brother your doing your best! In disappointed anyone made you feel the need to explain your shelf, but enjoyed the tour nonetheless. Keep up the good work 😁
Really enjoyed this video and I appreciate your efforts to try to get the products directly to the customers! The investing/resale mentality thats come about is getting really annoying, takes a lot of fun out of the hobby when you have to put so much work into finding products.
Been watching for a few weeks now Love the passion I do think with your growth in the last few months though that I’d make sure to keep things positive to keep the momentum going I know you’re frustrated but everyone else is too right now so please keep doing what you’re strong at Maybe switch to some box breaks (I know that’s easier said than done) but maybe use this time to keep building your audience and community The more your community has your back The easier it’ll be to get through the slow times Love the content Keep it going brother you got this
I refreshed your page from 3-5 for just one box and soon as it went up I tried to check out and they were sold out, yea bots suck bro. Its hard to buy seeing how the prices have increased so much all bc of Logan Paul
@@christopherram8948 so where have they been the last 10yrs?? I find it very hard to believe that these "scalpers" just woke up 2 months ago an said " let's take advantage of the pokemon market"?!? No shit started doubling overnight after that damn video of base being opened
@@maildaymadness8846 shit started going up when Gary V got into the game. It also doesn't make sense that everything pokemon related would go up because of logans video. He was only after the fucking base set first edition cards. That shit was the only thing that should have went up. Explain to me why champions path (not a first edition set base set) can't be found in stores. Logan paul sure as shit doesn't know or even cares about any of the new cards.
@@maildaymadness8846 do you know why the prices shot up. Because of scalpers and resellers. Let's use darkness ablaze and champions path as an example. You know why those sets are popular. Because of the 2 charizard vmax cards and the shiny charizard . Those cards alone carried the sets. And the fact that champions path was not going to be sold as a booster or as blister packs. What did people do. They started buying all the boxes, started opening the boxes, the started pulling those cards. Those cards aren't easy to pull. Once pulled people started listing them on ebay, Facebook etc. One person buys the card for 500. The next day that person who bought the card, is now selling it for 550, why because they want to make a profit. Some idiot buys the card for that price. What does that person do, he resells the card for 600. How is this possible? Because there is no set mrsp from the pokemon company. So re sellers, (who are not vendors who have authorized licenses) take advantage of that. Once resellers and scalpers find out about the single card, they start selling the etbs at a higher price, and people will buy. 20% will collect and the other 70% will resell for a higher price.
This is exactly what I have been telling everyone. I literally take my son to Target and wish I could tell him we will find what he is looking for and there is always some one on a phone asking what to buy or video chatting someone asking what can they buy to sell on Ebay, and all we can find is Rebel Clash or Sword and Shield Base set ETBs. Great video man, glad to see I'm not the only one seeing this.
I'm not a person who'll go home with ten boxes of the same products to go hunt for something specific to pull for selling. I've only come back into selling the cards I already had and buying some stuff to sell and keep some stuff of (aside from collecting and buying people's Rayquaza, and maybe collecting a bit of Eternatus) about the end of August and already noticed how INSANE it is. Earlier today on the 3rd, a store I've started pre-ordering some stuff from had opened up pre-orders for the 25th-anniversary items for February and it's already out of stock when I checked an hour ago. Like I'm happy I managed to pre-order 2 of everything, 1 of everything for myself and 1 of everything for my friend but it's absolutely crazy how fast stuff is going out. The holiday season is going to be a war for pokemon! * side note; I am addicted to opening packs, it's my drug sorry. :( ** I like collecting different pokemon tins, as well was ETB's tbh.. There's no point in me buying 20 tins of the same because I'll get bored looking at them lol
I can totally agree with you on scalpers and bots. These people that are just trying to make a quick buck are ruining it for everyone else. At the end of the day these people are going to give up, purely because they don’t have a love for Pokémon. I bet in 6 months Vivid Voltage pre-release kits will be stupid cheap because so many people bought them just to hold them, and weren’t actually excited for the set. Another side note is that I appreciate that you try to sell close to msrp. My local card shop doesn’t anything at msrp because the scalpers got so bad. They themselves charge $85 for a Champions Path ETB.
after being out of the game for 10 years and just getting back into it with SWSH base set, i couldn't agree with you more Danny. I don't like saying the word "hate" but flippers are the people I hate. I'm a collector first, and a seller (single's wise) and a player second. Your videos have helped me out with ideas and tips to help grow and it just pains me that actual collectors aren't able to find product on shelves. I look forward to more videos with the series about building a store/business as well. Much love and respect from myself as a viewer and a learner.
Danny’s the best. Thanks for keeping everything legit for love of the hobby.
It's the same here in the UK. Get allocated with whatever we buy :(

After not collecting pokemon cards since I was young, I am now trying to complete master Sets of expansions going forward. Thank you Danny for making this channel and giving me that Inspiration to continue with the fun after many years :)

And stay strong, we listen and love you man.
i totally understand your grief, respects to the old dogs for keeping the true hustle alive!
Thanks for buying my bulk, super fast, and got back to me super quick! Thank you hope everything goes smoother for you guys in the future.
Thanks for your integrity and love for the hobby and the longevity of it brother.
Great job with your store bro. Don't give up and stay as positive as possible.
Your a great person the care you put into community and your business, good job and thank you !
You touched on everything I have been dealing with trying to get my business started. Lots of frustration just trying to get product. Thanks for the honest assessment of the business right now.
"Ill even take steam siege"
DESPERATE TIMES = DESPERATE MEASURES!!!!!
I have booster boxes. hundreds of them. over 80 evo booster boxes. Do you have the $? im serious. I have no problem getting stock from my distributor.
Wow that is awful! 😢 I tried to find those the day of release at Walmart and couldn’t... makes sense now
@@lynncollects Yeah it was...I had never seen that before. Pure greed driven, no care or love for the hobbies.
We love you Danny! Keep your chin up! This too shall pass. Me and my family are here with You and Papa for the long haul!
I know about the hustle, and I respect your hard work. Thank you for sharing all this. #4 down, on to your next vid
Oh god when you got to talking about the guy in his young 20's on his phone looking at prices that was totally me about a month ago when i first got back into pokemon cards. Totally changed my perspective, awesome video.
I love the venting. Shows off the passion and knowledge.
Keep going man! We need people like you.
Quickly becoming my favorite poketuber.
"People are going crazy for Pokemon"
No.
"People are taking advantage and buying everything for the sure plan to try and re-sell for a profit."
Collectors are hurting because everyone wants to make profit.
Thats badass you did a raffle. Really sad the bots are sucking up all the inventory, takes scalping to the next level.
i couldn't agree more with what you said, i had some guy come up to me at a target and said something about how milwaukee has to literally limit how many items people get, but hasn't hit us yet.
Just placed an order for a few ETBs. Really appreciate everything you do!
Glad you're staying on top of it here to watch your business grow let's go!
As a newish collector this situation is frustrating. I've collected Pokémon cards when I was younger and recently found my old folders and really wanted to finish my Shadowless base set collection. Well loads of the holo values blew up recently and know it's impossible to get them im a decent price ☹️
As I also collect Funko pops same time the same phenomenon is happening in that community too and to be honest it sucks all of the fun from collecting when there's so many flippers around to make a quick buck....
Really good video, I understand your frustration completely. People are going crazy over these new sets n stuff
Great stuff Danny. Keep up the great work dude
"If you want protection from my robot army, just reach out to me and I'm sure we can work something out..."
@@LearnMathandPhysicswithMe Oh how naive. I mean, if you want us to continue to clean up stock everywhere, we can do that too. LOL. I'm just trying to help a small business out.
Maybe don't make it sound like you're running a protection racket, is all I'm saying
I really like the raffle idea you implemented; really looking out for the true collectors
i've been starting my collectibles business for 2 years now , just got it registered and saving capital but your journey really inspires me to keep pushing and be in it for the long haul
Keep up the amazing work and just keep pestering the suppliers hehe :D
I was just using his product as an example)
Another reason I want to see the market reset, is because there are too many people who are pushing up prices in a way that doesnt make sense and frankly seems dangerous for some...
You just hope that if they do take a massive hit, that they truly enjoy the cards and will be happy with having them in their collection, despite how much they may have depreciated since they purchased them.
keep up the passion man! we hear you!
You're a good guy Danny and a credit to the Pokemon community
Hear you there, especially for small retailers. Had a distributor tell me I need to spend $100k to get products because right now they’re going to the larger buyers.
You are the man Danny! I’m here for the long haul 👽
Your venting is so validated! So hard to find product! (Was already hard enough to find in New Zealand!)
Thanks for the hard work and Keep grinding!
Head up homie ! Keep grinding! Always appreciate the knowledge you drop ! and damn righ be selfish for your family. That shit got me fired up 🔥🔥🔥
Keep pushing Danny your awesome man I respect your grind and your thoughts
Been watching for a few weeks now
Love the passion
I do think with your growth in the last few months though that I’d make sure to keep things positive to keep the momentum going
I know you’re frustrated but everyone else is too right now so please keep doing what you’re strong at
Maybe switch to some box breaks (I know that’s easier said than done) but maybe use this time to keep building your audience and community
The more your community has your back The easier it’ll be to get through the slow times
Love the content
Keep it going brother you got this
Ty all I want to see from your vids is the blunt and honest truth.
Completely understand your frustration man !
Keep your head up Danny you are doing great and your merchandise is good we understand. I will always be a loyal customer of yours
I refreshed your page from 3-5 for just one box and soon as it went up I tried to check out and they were sold out, yea bots suck bro. Its hard to buy seeing how the prices have increased so much all bc of Logan Paul
Lol this isn't because of logan paul. It's because of scalpers and resellers.
@@christopherram8948 so where have they been the last 10yrs?? I find it very hard to believe that these "scalpers" just woke up 2 months ago an said " let's take advantage of the pokemon market"?!? No shit started doubling overnight after that damn video of base being opened
@@maildaymadness8846 youve got lots to learn bro
I really love watching and listening to you. I wish you the best for your Family bro. Best regards from Germany
** I like collecting different pokemon tins, as well was ETB's tbh.. There's no point in me buying 20 tins of the same because I'll get bored looking at them lol
Gotta love the grind brother!!
Big respect to u. U kept it 100 real in this video
Be encouraged, I appreciate your passion and morality to do business the right way.
