On the switch im not bothered about hyper realism I've got a gaming PC and ps5 for that I love the stylised graphics of the switch exclusives , but I would love for tears of the kingdom to run better hopefully atleast 1440p 60fps .
@@HOPGamingZonetrue. That made me think I wish they had 900p when ps4 professional came out I wished they did an option of 900p 60fps vs trying to hit 4K with almost exclusively using checkerboarding. Why didn’t they have an option of that quality mode and a performance like we see nowadays with like 900p or even 720p. I think that would’ve made sense and been nice.
Lol good for you. MOST people can only afford 1 console. As long as switch 2 can get ports of new games with locked 30fps framerate at 1080p even with just low graphics.
I love my switch as a handheld. The switch 2 should have 2 options at launch a cheaper lcd model and a slightly pricier OLED option day 1. I hope they add a proper dpad and Hall effect sticks. Maybe make the stick heads slightly bigger. Same with the joy cons 2.0.
Fvkk gta 5 I wish people stopped supporting it to make them release GTA 6 earlier it's been 10 yrs I stopped playing it at age 23 , I remember getting it at age 19
Take this as an estimate and not a rumor. Until mid-2023, they worked with the Tegra Orin as the base for the Switch, but later changed to a more efficient chip. The new CPU will consist of 2x Cortex X4 ARMv9.2 high performance, 4x ARM Cortex A78 for performance, and 4x ARM A76 for efficiency, totaling 10 cores. The A76 cores emulate the original Switch. The console will have between 8 and 12GB of LPDDR5X LPCAMM2, with a speed of 7200MT/s, a 128-bit interface, and a bandwidth of 120GB/s. The Devkit uses a GPU derived from the AD107, the same used in the RTX4050 Max Q, destined for laptops. The screen will have a resolution of 1440p with HDR10 support. Unlike the current Switch, where Nintendo set static clocks for the CPU/GPU, in this new platform the clocks are dynamic within the power constraint. Thus, developers can choose the desired clock, favoring more CPU or GPU as needed. The development platform is based on AI and departs from common rendering methods, providing tools that monitor, identify errors, or automatically generate special code. All this was done so that developers can focus more on innovation. The console also has many data collection sources and security methods. The AI monitors the screen, all accessories, and ports, being able to identify any attempt at strange intrusion.
If Nintendo is aiming for a $400 dollars price tag for the switch 2. I doubt the switch 2 will be as powerful as a ps5 console and Xbox series x. O r what your suggesting.
Honestly we won’t see a new Nintendo system for awhile the higher ups at Nintendo have said they won’t be releasing the system while the world is in the middle of a recession.
With the success they've had already being hands down the company with the WEAKEST Consoles since the Wii & worst treatment of their consumers without question why would anything change?😂😒
I’m seeing some comments say Nintendo need to add a D-pad but personally I don’t think that’s a good idea, because they are designed for one-joycon multiplayer, and if one person had a d-pad for buttons I dont think they would be very happy! 😂
I don’t care about Nintendo’s gimmicks, and I wish they would just release a powerful console already. The reveal of the Nintendo Switch was the most disappointing console reveal of my lifetime.
It needs to be at least as powerful as the ps4 professional with newer hardware that runs better so it has that power but runs better. Like how the series s is actually less powerful than the Xbox one x but can overall run things better.
@@minecrafter3448 yeah and they should make it rival the series s. That would be a decent life cycle and give more people a reason to get one. I wouldn’t have a switch if it wasn’t for my wife because I’ve never cared much about Nintendo. I’ll always be PlayStation as that’s my style of games I like. If they go close to series s power that’ll still be older ish and will be impressive for a handheld system if it keeps the same form factor. I think it would be silly to do such low power as a ps4. For that I don’t even see a point in them having a new console. I’m sure people would buy but why? Hardly any move up.
It works mainly bc of optical acelerator, ampere architecture has it too, but to keep it simple, its just too weak, the easy solution for that dilema is just work on that specific point rather than change the whole thing, Ampere and Ada are not that different from each other, the main differences are the efficiency cuz of the 5nm node and stuff like dlss 3.0 or higher many thing count (most of that stuff is useless for a videogame console)
I'm starting to not care about buying early.. specially not at an estimated $400 asking entry price! Switch is dying and I haven't really had the "need" to play recent releases.. It will also soon enter the era that the Wii U is currently in! With a high availability of homebrewing and rom accessibility. So, I'll have plenty of games to play on the switch, while new (sparse) releases come out.
If Nintendo is aiming for a $400 dollars 💸 price tag for the switch 2. I doubt the switch 2 is going to be as powerful as a ps5 console and Xbox series x console. All depends on the price tag Nintendo is placing on the switch 2 will determine how powerful the switch 2 is.
They are taking a risk of not selling 3rd party games that could make them a ton of money. I always go back to Baldur’s Gate 3 point. That game would have been perfect for the switch and probably sold at insane levels but they probably can’t even run the game. It’s not the end of the world as they had basically a perfect gen but I feel like they are leaving money on the table. That’s the only chance Nintendo changes their outlook if they realize this.
Guarantee its a terrible upgrade, with a shit screen, more drift and likely most games won't be able to handle 60fps. They won't allow you to use voice through the machine, send texts to friends, send game invites to friends and most importantly the Internet will still be a 2.5g with no blue tooth.
Backwards compatibility must for Switch 2!
Yes with switch games for sure.

If they add a second chip in the dock and have it run 4K on television it could be possible. No shot handheld tho.

They aren’t even dropping the current price. So it’ll be a moment.
Switch games outside Nintendo titles are average and bland asf
The last time they dropped the price of a console was 2013, and that was more of a rework than a price drop.
