Investigations leading to Najib's charging in 1MDB case "shoddy", argues defence lawyer

The High Court in Kuala Lumpur was told that investigations that resulted in Datuk Seri Najib Razak being charged in the RM2.28bil 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) trial were "shoddy" and "incomplete".
Defence lawyer Wan Azwan Aiman Wan Fakhruddin submitted on Wednesday (Sept 18) that there was a "predetermined intention" to prosecute Najib and accuse him, regardless of the outcome of the investigation.

Najib's lawyer should argue on facts. Arguing on technicalities wouldn't make the no 1 kleptocrat in the world innocent of his crimes. All of his accomplice in many countries such as in sgpore, USA, UAE and Swiss, had been found guilty in squandering 1mdb's money but here in Msia, the opposite happens though the trials is ongoing.
