  • The CEO of Global Ikhwan Services and Business Holdings (GISB) and his wife have been detained, as Malaysian police widen their raid over a child abuse case surrounding charity homes linked to the firm. Nasiruddin Mohd Ali was among 19 people detained in an early morning raid on four residential premises in Kuala Lumpur. Over 400 children who had allegedly been exploited and sexually abused were rescued last Wednesday. They were found in some 20 welfare homes believed to be linked to GISB. 171 suspects have been arrested. Afifah Ariffin reports.
