That printing of the poem of John Alden has a cryptic code applied to it. Do NOT take it at face value. There are "Shakespeare Codes" video all over RUclips to watch. What I see here are sentences stating with far too many "T" letters and I understand that this represented the Triple T of :Nothing is Truer than Truth. T followed by W in the start of very next sentence. Without directly seeing this clearly I suspect Cotton is reveling the hidden genealogy of the man. Likely ~ that he is of the illegitimate lines of Queen Elizabeth 1st. Cottons own relatives the Lake Family (Whom I descend) returned to England from Boston after the Restoration to become Baronets and Attorney Generals of Ireland. Sir Atwell Bibye Lake also went on with the London Company to head up Hudson's Bay Fur Trading Company, the East Africa Company and the East Indian Company over the generations that followed. My namesakes (Atwell) were part of Shakespeare world heading up the Fur Trade at Skinners Hall, the Lakes were heads of the Needle craft Trade halls that made uniforms for the crown. Guildhalls ruled London.
Codes are far too complex for me to decipher here, they begin with John Dee (Elizabeth's Alchemist) and are used by Sir Francis Bacon. DeVere was possibly the lover of Queen Elizabeth 'and the Earl of Southampton their son. Shakespeare pokes fun at the sexual exploits of these randy Tudors and there is no doubt that the Rich's involved in the New World Colonies are the same persons of Shakespeare's "The Dark Lady" Penelope Devereux (Rich)
