Solo Defending My OP Rathole Against 3 Separate Tribes! - Ark: Survival Evolved PVP

- Hi guys, Welcome to Episode 2 of this PVP mini series. In this episode, I try to defend my Rat Hole from 3, yes Three separate tribes!

Stego counters are: nets from harpoon guns, poison nades if they didn’t bring hazard or gas mask, bear traps (they will probably see them), the non crystal wyverns can pick them, karkinos can pick them, thylo’s for bleeding, and tek rifling/tek rexing/tek tappying where the rider is if they do have gas mask and hazard. The tek stuff will splash and break their helmets then you throw the nade.
For being solo in a rat hole your best bet is nets and thylos.
Also if you don’t have tek yet you need plant x, it’s annoying af to deal with if you didn’t bring flame arrows and will really slow down raids on you.

@kiddas you can also flame the rider, but it’s risky if they get the tail bleed off.
I havent seen anyone say anything about this and you seem new to pvp so here is a few tips. Stegos can be picked by poison, fire, and lightning wyverns. They can be netted. They can also be knocked out by mantis pretty quickly with good clubs. I saw you get picked by stalkers multiple times and you seemed to struggle. You can get out of stalkers by either damaging it while it is reeling you in, or by punching or meleeing with a melee weapon while you are picked. Also, you should almost always have your turrets on high. Thats why it took your turrets so long to shoot that wyvern you managed to aggro into your turrets.

If you can put a basilisk or a reaper in area where your turrets go so they can’t throw tames out, also I think they were in the mesh they should not have been able to blow your base

nice video dude! was fun, theres a place in gen 1 that Iv known for years and its never been raided or even found yet. every wipe no one comes and servers capped. find yoursed a spot like that and raid everyone. :)

Dude you need to use net guns on stegos you can get them in green drops in lions den i think
Great job defending 👍 also why you no use shocking tranq dart while taming? If server allows nets, net wild dino and pump shocking tranqs into it. You can also knock ppl out faster to cage them. 😁

Best way to get rid of stego have 2 heavies one on players one on tames, net the stego while they are soaking the dino turret net the stego and the player only turret kills the player maybe 2 of wach turret since flak is so op these days
Mantis for defense would be perfect here, club or sword on mantis and it'll destroy the turtles
Daedons are way better than owls unless they got nerfed. To restore food you fill the inventory with meat and go out of render and it will instantly fill its food back up. Daedons are way better than snow owls in my opinion
Dude if theyre at the entrance you can just spam metal fence supports the whole time

It’s terrible you can throw tek nades or rockets into the hole and they don’t get shot until they are deep in the base

Just to be clear, daedons are actually OP for healing if you know how to use them properly.
I would like to know why you say daedons are trash, they heal double that of a snow owl, the only negative thing is it requires alot of meat
They eat so much it's crazy ngl lol. I'd rather sit there on an owl* forever than having to do all those dam meat runs lol. I'm an offical player tho so that has to do with it as well
Yeah I kinda said that out of context, they're not trash I just didn't have anywhere near enough meat as one would of needed

Wait what? Daedons are way better than snow owls end game now yes at the beginning if you're taming low levels yea snow owls are decent but get a good high level breeding pair of daedons with high hp (the amount of healing is based on base hp) they can literally heal an entire group of soakers easily. A good imprinted daedon with around 8k base hp and about 40k food can heal 10 stegos to full health in less then 3 mins as long as you keep it fed
What server do you play on
For stegos use nets from what I’ve seen that worked, also make a discord
if there next any tek turrets in that base that i cant hit from behind i always use tek shields even if i have to use prime shields makes it easy to soak rat holes lol edit but if you are playing on a modded server that has tek leeshs just get 20 queen bees trap them inside of it and on aggressive they will swarm the entrance of a rat hole and just cause lag and annoyance to the raiders lol one of my most favorite defences for the center ice cave where they have to jump down because they cant just walk the stego up to the walls after they drop down because of absurd lag and they normally die because they can move anywhere fast :D or you can use a fouindation + stone rail and ceiling + slopped roof so the small bees can get out but the queens cant
in my 3k hours of ark i have never been online raided succesfully

one metal fence support in the spot the turtle un cryoed would have stopped the soaking
I don't play pvp but if you have a lot of resources could you not put down hundreds or even thousands of the cheap spiked walls to cover a large area of the entrance to your base and all over your base it would make it a pain to move anywhere near your base and you could use the grappling hook to drag enemies into the spikes
