I hope this video gets a million views. The longer format with lots of humorous banter and technical detail was captivating. I genuinely appreciate how much care and effort you put into your channel and videos, and cannot express my gratitude in words.
My best friend is a logger! Yes they use their equipment to the max! But back in the bar room brawling days, we always left upright when many others were horizontal! They are tough hombres! Great video!
Back in the 80s I worked with two that were perhaps the strongest people I have ever seen. One who was my boss 60 years old and I personally saw on three occasions lift a 55 gallon barrel of oil at arms length and place up on a flat bed mounted on an international trans star. I would never have believed if I hadn't seen with my own eyes are. The other I heard stories about but never saw.
Not sure which is more impressive . What the boogers did to this win h , or , that it seems tearing winche's all to hell and gone is such a common occurrence that you do this " all the time " . Honorable mention goes to JD for having two winches with the same case and ALMOST zero parts interchangeability between the two . That takes some real engineering skill .
I think sausage fingers did great today. Get Kevin some ice cream for his efforts 😂😂. It's amazing the difference between the two winches in the same cases. I like your idea to fix the winch mount.
Another excellent job BY C&C EQUIPMENT. Thank you Clint, Kevin, Tucker and everyone at the shop. Thanks again for taking us with you. Have a blessed weekend.
Great work guys!!! Entertaining fun and educational. Always enjoy watching. Thank you for taking us along. She should run factory and then some. It's the "and then some" you just fixed😊.
Great video and repair. Having that Bridgeport definitely saved the day on this job. The customer ought to be happy with the quick turnaround and actual repairs instead of just replacing parts.
Just Love this channel, ex fabricator welder myself and I must say THERE IS NOTHING YOU GUYS FIND PROBLEMATIC, always working with a smile a d DEEP POCKETS for all those machines. 😂 Thanks Guys !! Keep them coming !! Nb liked Lersdig18 dozer. 👍

Well just a couple of OOP’s and some sausage fingers dilemmas but overall a very successful rebuild and definitely worthy of my time you and Kevin and Tucker are a great team 👍😎🇺🇸 NY
Hello Master Mechanics at C&C, everytime you say a price, i try find the part number, and look on our prices! That 2 400 $ part cost us around 2 750$ + vat 25% today, july 2024. Best Regards Peter Eriksson Sweden Europe 😮😅😊!
I really enjoy watching you guys work together. You remind me of a very dear fiend that passed a few years back, Together we could tackle any problem. Stay Safe Guys.
Just for fun ... I notice Kevin is wearing a wedding ring and you not....I watched a instructor really mess up that Ring finger years ago in front of our macinicas class .. I used to work in 400A three phase panels hot all the time ....I quit wearing that ring 50 years ago and my wife never minded .... I knew how to tell interested ladies NO and my wife wanted me safe....thanks again for the fun videos.....

Love these longer videos, where the whole project is shown. Can't wqait until you start cleaning out the big fab shop you bought, looks like a goldmine to me. Your site is always interesting I love it. From West Texas
It's nice to be able to fix that winch set up and charge the customer a price that fit the repair. It seems scary when you buy something and there are unexpected expenses not seen in a purchase.😊
You can't get springs 1:21:37 and sausages out of there at the same time🤣💦 I'm sure it's been said and all the comments but us people that know what that requires to do realize just how big of a job that is. Not to mention that stuff isn't in a book somewhere you may have some assembly photos but 95% of that knowledge lies between your ears! Great vid like the longer format.
After watching men repair equipment in Pakistan, they never use a torque wrench, only brute force when putting the bolts back in. It's a wonder that anything they repair works. You guys do an excellent job of repairing things.
I don't understand why people hate on you when they are not seeing the whole picture? You are not showing everything you do and I know from experience you forget to show the little details that are second nature to you. Most people who are watching dont know much about what you are doing. You must have confidence in what you are doing are you wouldn't show it to the world. For me I have learned a lot about how things work in large equipment. Thanks for sharing this information with us Dummies 😊
It is interesting to see how you address the carnage on certain jobs, and not just throwing the parts cannon at it. May be equipment manufactures should let the Loggers do all the durability trials on new equipment, I am sure they would find any areas of weakness. Thank you for posting, all the best from Nottinghamshire, U.K.
Those loggers certainly know how to create a mess, not only there equipment but how they leave a site aswell. Love the banter between you and Kevin, bet that's a great night out even without a couple of beers. 👍
Enjoy the channel. I’m a big supporter of the trades programs!! These tools may not be the top of the line, but a lot of them have life time warranty. These are good starter tool kit and box without going in to major debt. Young people of this country need to learn they can’t live on credit!!

Sheesh…! What do these local loggers have against these “winches”…! They sure seem to go thru them regularly. Nice work, gentlemen, you work wonders on these repairs. Thank you.
Enjoyed the rebuild/repair on the winch. The one thing you didn’t do for the customer was short cut the quality of work that went into the rebuild, that’s what will stand the test of time. Thanks for the video, appreciate the work quality.
Nice job guys ! We see the same kind of wear and abuse in the steel industry. One of the problems is, the older guys with 25-30 years of experience are retiring without passing on their knowledge. The young bucks just tear up equipment. But it keeps us busy ! 😄
As soon as you said someone was in there. My first thought was well we seen you do it on RUclips and it didn’t look that hard and I couldn’t help but laugh. After all how many times have you taken them apart to make it look that easy.
That green stuff that you tried at your lathe, those that use it were sent a bottle (like you) now they kind of swear by it. It doesn't splash. As for this job you have just done, it amamazes me that you not only know what you are doing but that you also remember what & where things are e.g. springs etc. That was a very good watch, thanks!
If you do get a film crew my vote is no music on the video. The ambient sounds are just fine and we really don't need banjo music while you are drilling out broken bolts. At least that's my vote. Good Job as always.
You all did a good job on the wenches. The videos were just right as well. Seems like you midwestern guys could consolidate your merchandise sales to make life easier.
Excellent I had no idea how these winches worked. I do not own any heavy equipment but sure like learning about how they work. Great videos. Conway, Arkansas
Another great video with every phase shown and explained. I bet the logger guys watched this and got a kick out of your commentary. Saw Kevin use his trusty knife and saw Clinton use his as well in other episodes. Some folks don't know what there missing.
Loggers and Farmers I worked with them in Montana in the mid 70s as as I can see " Ain't nothing Changed " Clint , I wouldn't guarantee anything on your end unless I did the install
Clint On your engine stand were you use crank to turn the parts over. Have you ever thought about pulling that handle off and putting a long nut and bolt through it . And take a socket and cut it where it will fit between the the head and the nut and use your drill to turn the motor stand.
I'm not sure if you missed filming torquing the two bolts at the free spool gear at video time 50.00 or not. Seems like you just snugged them down with the impact. I really like your videos better than anyone else's. Keep up the good work. You two guys work good together, like you are part of a race car rebuild team that works between drag race runs...
Nice brass hammer!! BTW the cool kids use Dykem red. ;)This reminds me of the time I used parts from a deep and shallow OMC outdrive to make one good one. Was fun reverse engineering the set up tools for the gears.
Logger cowboy and a ruffneck are a group of people that could tear up an anvil 😂😂
Not all of us, city boy.

My grandpa logged for 36 years. Looks like the industry is still supporting families.
Many other families not connected are gone for ever a long with many Public resources including Flora and Fawana.
Where would we be without loggers, gotta love em and they love you fellas that fix the stuff they break.
