Working LEGO M1911 [4 Studs Wide] + Instructions
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 24 фев 2021
- This is my working lego replica of the classic M1911 pistol. From the moment the idea popped in my head to build it, I knew two things: the design had to be both sleek and 4 studs wide, but with minimal sacrifices in terms of shooting power. As far as I knew, nobody succeeded in doing this, so I took the challenge and decided to give it a try. I must admit, it was kinda tricky...The main reason why I succeeded in making the first working prototype, was, summarized in one word; simplicity. That doesn't mean the mechanism didn't become complex, but in principle it was simple. Anyway, in my opinion, it turned out great. I would like to know what you guys think, so feel free to leave a comment down below.
Instructions are available on my website: ju5tm.com/product/working-leg...

This probably one of the most innovative designs I’ve seen in a while. 😍😍
I am trying to buy ur instructions... but the link doesn’t work 😭
That means a lot coming from you haha, glad you like it! And the link works again xD Also, if you want, send me a pic to @ju2tm when you're done building it :)
If I could I would definitely get the instructions
@@ju5tm but lucky for u snyze cuz JTLegoGun make the free tutoria
You're finally back! this is absolutely amazing! and thats a very smart mechanism for a pistol, i might try it sometime!
This is one of the most reliable lego pistol I've ever came across on RUclips. I'd give this a solid 8/10. Great job!
Too nice pistol, best brickshooting pistol i ever saw
Thx 🙏!!!
I have seen the video of you so many times.
Seeing your works always make me happy. Thank you!
Absolutely fantastic!
The legend is back!
That really is something. I haven't seen anyone accomplish something like this ever, and its just really well done!
Thanks, this was definitely one of the most tricky builds I've ever done haha, just so little space to fit any moving parts...
@@ju5tm ( *P.S ,This is just a question.* ) are you planning to make the instructions free after some time?
@@mrchen1548 sorry he wont
You made it work! The first für studs wide working Lego gun, congratulations
That's a real impressive gun. I also love that it is 4 studs wide.
Tnx!!
Omg this is amazing
This gun is amazing! I really like how it is 4 studs wide.
The return of the king
Wow! I really like the way how the mag is build. The whole gun looks so smooth!
thanks m8
I have this and it’s very reliable. I definitely recommend buying the instructions :)
I have had the instructions for a month now and i still havent built it XD

Very cool 👍😎
This is one of the best pistols on RUclips. The mech is pure genius, and the filming is very high-quality. I'll try to build this without instructions, or mayb ill buy :P
Thanks for the comment! Happy to hear you like my video and creation. Good luck with building🤞
soo good
Does it have a slidelock?
Really. Cool
Luv it
1000% buying the instructions, this is the best replica on the internet. Thank you so much, subbed
Ps, is there a slide lock?
Thanks! It doesn't have a slide lock though. Because of the chambering mech a slide lock just didn't really make much sense to me... I think it would be possible, but it won't add much functionality.
JustM thanks!
I love this pistol
StillThinking, are you going to come out with the new guns yet I been waiting I made every single one twice
Help pls, where can I send u a photo of the problem, Bullet has difficulty chambering and I can’t fix it
Not gonna lie , this should get a thousand likes or million views and hundred thousand sub :) this is literally a masterpiece! Keep up the great work man 🤩🔥🔥!
Eyy thanks bro!! Glad to hear!
:)
Nice bro ;)
i'll definitely buy them but it would be nice to have a part list so we know
what pieces we don't have and we can buy them in advance. beautiful gun btw.
Thanks for the support! xml part list should be on mocsmarket
*Best Gun !*
I had a problem I can only use 4 because when I use more bullets it realise 1 bullet behind the other jamming it can u help
I might but the instructions, nice gun.
Thanks m8
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWW!
Please 🙏 instructions
I bought it!! yeah!!!!!!
thankyou!!!
Have fun building! Thanks for the support!
Can you make a video on how to install this gun?
Amazing
Im going to buy it soon
Thanks for the support!
How much did the pieces cost?
@@di3gogato566 Not sure, I had most pieces, only bought a couple pieces from a local store. But it depends on where you buy it, I don't have any experience with bricklink but I think it would be a good place to buy.
Plus you don't need a heck load of pieces
Yea i dont know how much the pieces would cost but it seems cheap (over 30 euros) i may buy it on tuesday or wenesday
Ps sorry for bad english, im spanish
Do you plan on making more tutorials?
I'll buy it soon!!!!!!!
Great gun, works well and a well thought out mechanism. Only thing is that I feel it has more of the shape of a FN Five-seveN... Overall great gun.
Can you please make a video on how to change the rubber bands it’s hard for me to understand how to put them in
this doesn't really look like an exact 1911, but I can see how you were inspired. (: I really like how it's 4-wide. I think Peter's Workshop is releasing his vid soon on a 4 wide pistol
good luck getting those pieces back! also i bought the instructions so i will make a review video soon!
A moment of silence for al the pieces that where lost that day...rip
@@ju5tm aw man! thank you for hard sacrifices to make the video! i hope you find them soon or are replacing them.
This looks epic and i would think its real if i were standing like 15 feet away
I might have to buy these instructions 😅 do you plan on making more pistols in the future
Yes, I've recently finished my g17. It's based around the same mechanism I used for this m1911. Check out my latest community post to see a picture. I'm gonna start making a video on it soon.
@@ju5tm sick dude keep it up 👌
Looks reliable and the most importand....
4 stands wide
This gun is awesome and so smooth but Music?
Wow dude this is great!!!!!!!!!!!
Ive watched this video like 50 times trying to build it then i just bought the instructions lol
I give the gun 10/10
Whats the song man?
Just where do you get these parts I have nothing plz reply I have been a fan of all your vids
For International buying, Bricklink is a popular option. I personally haven't ordered from Bricklink yet, but many use it. I would recommend Bricklink unless you can find a cheaper local store. You can download the XML part list from mocsmarket (link in description), just upload it to Bricklink and Bricklink will automatically make best buying option for the pieces.
Ok but what do you suggest I at least want to have some of the parts just to make the mag with bullets
Great work! Can i get the size of rubberband you use which is tied on the technic piece?
Thanks! I bought mine in a local store, and the label doesn't mension any sizes xd. But I've measured my rbb's and they are 8cm in length and 3mm wide (cut width). I would pick size 32 or size 33 rubberbands (with 1/8 inches thickness). As far as I know these sizes match best to the rbb's I used. Hope this helps.
@@ju5tm thank you so much!
@@ju5tm l am just wondering that why you release the mag so smoothly! Do I need to fix the mag part ID92907?
Remember, switching to your pistol is always faster than reloading.
This is fantastic! it looks super good! and the mechanism is super cool! Im probably going to buy the instructions
Dude you said that you are from the US so how do you buy stuff on Mocs market when your in US
@@neems4653 you need to use PayPal because it automatically converts usd to euro
@@Texas_shreds ok so what do you do on paypal
@@neems4653 if you have money in your account, it should automatically switch to euro when you order the instructions
Did u find the Lego pieces? They r probably lost in the snow lol.
Wow! I Cant belive you are back! Well i have a quastion tho do you destroy your lego guns and make New ones?
Yep, gotta break to make... I don't really have enough pieces for multiple guns, especially big rifles take up a lot of pieces. But I think this pistol might survive, as I really like it.
How buy that?
Hey I didn't buy the instructions but made the gun based on Jeremiah Tan's recreation on it and also other vids, have to say very smart mechanism and very compact but I get a common problem where the bullet turns sideways or isnt straight in the chamber. Is this also a problem with your version?
Thanks, mine doesn't have this problem, I designed the trigger and firing string so that it keeps the bullets centered.
@@ju5tm I made the gun properly but I have a problem where the firing piece 1x3 doesn't go back far enough to get the bullet out, when it pushes back the l piece on the mag it doesn't pull the bullet out bc the l piece can't go back far enough. Can I send u a photo of the problem.
@@elitegoblin2248 sure, you can send me a picture to my email or Instagram account @ju2tm.
@@ju5tm I did on insta
I also followed his tutorial and had the same problem, it is clearly a problem because Jeremiah rebuilt the gun without using the instructions and couldn’t get it to work as well as JustMs
can you make magezine instrusion
Not to be mean big fan but when will you make a tutorial vid for it because to me whysell instructions
Tu le sort quand le tuto
Is there a separate magazine parts list?
Yes, I've just now added a separate part list: www.mocsmarket.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/Magazine-part-list.xml
I want that
I bought ur instructions earlier I built the mag rn
what would you say the range on this thing is?
Range is actually very good considering the size. Especially if you use some beefy rbb's. At a distance greater than ~2m ur gonna have a hard time hitting small targets though. It's plenty powerful, that's not the issue, but the pistol is not very accurate at those long distances.
This gun is just epic. When are you gonna make a new one?
It is very epiccc
Imagine if I could Akimbo this :D
What rubberband do you use for the gun? Mine keeps breaking and I hate taking the slide apart and some pieces of the barrel to put a new one
And on instruction 50 I can’t manage to fit the 2x1 in the slot it just won’t budge
Thicker rbb's will last longer, I use flat bands about 3mm thick and 5cm in diameter, I don't know the exact size. The rbb's are threaded through the axle hole of the two 1x3 thin beams. Because it's an axle-type hole, it has sharp edges. This causes the rbb's to break faster than usual. A simple fix: duct tape. Just stick a thin strip of tape on the sharp edges. I suppose you could also try putting some sort of protective sleeve on the rubber band, but I think tape is the best option.
@@omyloo9135Do you mean the 1x2 modified plate with one hole? cuz it should fit.
@@ju5tm ok thanks I was using an inverted version of it
@@ju5tm oh nice you fixed my m1911 rbb from breaking too much and I applied that to my snyzer tech deagle and it lasts longer
BUILT IT AND IT WORKS AMAZING, ITS COMPACT, RELIABLE, SMOOTH, AND POWERFUL! (shoots 5+ meters)
Nice! Glad you like it!!
Wow
Hey! so I have a question, when you download the parts list from mocsmarket, it downloads as a CSV file. I tried converting it to XML but no website was able to read the CSV or XML. any idea what to do?

I really love it but what's up with the front?
You mean the inverted slope pieces? Basically to hold the whole thing together, it's the least bulky and most sturdy option I could come up with.
